The Roglstomp no match for the Tommy Gun.

Best parts of that race were when ijdtedbrockes went full sprint out of the saddle to try and attack and just didn't even get a gap jajajaja

I think he was pretty much sprinting all the way, it was just the others that didn't keep the same intensity at all times.

Old man Roglic forgetting to stomp? Get that earpiece in and activate him. He looked like he was out for a recovery ride the whole way. I miss the stomp of years past...
That said, he looked great today

As soon as Pidcock attacked, it was clear that was going to stick. Bad time for Rogla to let him slip away right before the hairpin. Decent showing for Roglic. Not a win, but encouraging. Where was Pellizzari? Tendons must be acting up because you'd think based on T-A that he would have been there competing for the win.

Christen looks to be coming towards the end of his form curve, he wasn't at his absolute best in Tirreno but still did a really good job for his teammate, shelled by the Seb Berwick's of the world here.

Preliminary calculations for today's race (subject to further review):

Tom Pidcock | 72 (-8): 6.95 W/kg for 13:39 on Superga (full climb)

This is 2 seconds slower than Roglic in 2021 and over 20 seconds slower than Del Toro last year. Roglic did the first ascent at 6.89 w/kg for 12:02, which put some fatigue into the legs. The last climb was quite tactical without a consistent pace, which caused the slower time.

As expected, Roglic looked quite good today, but without a good Pellizzari, it was impossible to win against Pidcock.

Pidcock not in the same shape as last year. Doubt he can follow on Cipressa like this

It was very much a yo-yo ride by him. Considering he couldn't/didn't follow any of the attacks finishing 4th is not a bad result at all.

i think he has put in huge volume earlier than last year , so today was like the first stage of tota last year

only making me more confident he will be in contention for the podium in catalunya
Looks like they sent him to this race for probably the same reasons that they will send him to Trentjno before the giro instead of the normal prep of no racing after catalunya
