When all is said and done, I wonder how many Salazar-coached athletes will have TUEs for asthma therapies...

I suspect the number will be small, and we will be force to conclude that he is a very allergenic guy :razz:

He passed out at finish line the NYC half around that time IIRC, so it was truly emergency treatment.

NYC half is in March. I don't remember what year he passed out.

A TUE is required because any IV of more than 50ml/6 hours is prohibited. That and the painkillers are consistent with hospitalization. Story is published a month after the TUE was given:

I know we are not supposed to read anymore, the intertubes is strictly image based. But the accompanying text still goes like this:

"A world 10,000m and 5,000m champion in both 2013 and 2015, Great Britain’s Mo Farah has now completed an Olympic ‘double’ on two occasions. In taking gold in both events at London 2012 and Rio 2016, he became only the second athlete after Finnish legend Lasse Viren to achieve the feat."

Still in good company, there. Would be awesome if Mo was busted properly, tho.

The only reason the FBI would be involved is because Nike ( who bankroll Salazar's team ) has been a difficult target for USADA - Though I remain uncomfortable with the FBI's involvement in sporting matters, especially those that have a tenuous link to the USA.

Salazar and the Nike Project have plenty of US links.

The Mo involvement is almost a sidebar at this point.

Yep. Nike seem to have done all they can to block investigations.
