I think it was pretty clear that I was blaming the admins, not the mods.
I only just saw this but I also appreciate that. Its been challenging to put it mildly. The Tour was daunting but this Vuelta even tougher. I also appreciate what
@Red Rick has added as a former mod.

@Armchair Cyclist who wore the brunt as the "fun" usually occurred live while I was sleeping. In my time zone I only came in after the fact and could be presented with up to 15 reports to read, decipher and judge -
at before 6am in my mornings.
What I would also like to reiterate is
more mods would definitely help - particularly during the time of clock that racing normally takes place in Europe. Armchair Cyclist was on his own most of this time.
In the past there were certainly more mods. Open invitations and direct invitations for new mods were declined. So I would hope a little more tolerance of mods just trying to do their best. In my travels and in this forum I always prefer to apply the principle of "assume positive intent".
