Once you send it, it belongs to the recipient. Words, bullets, letters, and PM's... once you send them they ain't yours any more. Deleting a PM and banning a guy for posting it = weak.

Also the way the moooderators butchered this thread is a horrible mess.

Some moderators should have their delete privilege taken away.

These mods treat the delete button like the Far Side's Big Book of Horse Medicine, where every ailment's treatment is shooting the horse. Although in this case there seems to be a lot of horse shooting going on long after the horse is dead.

It is not so everywhere. In many European countries the property of a message belongs to both the sender and the recipient. For Anglos is generally the way you said.

A mod is not always posting as a mod but can assume the status of poster who just happens to be a mod. I am not familiar with the aforementioned thread but may be A mod posting as a mod and poster who is a mod but not posting as a mod but just a poster.
I don't know any Canada jokes.

this is a laugh, seeing as it was you that derailed the thread bickering with Dear Wiggo about JV. And yes, you did respond to Dear Wiggo despite being politely asked to desist. And no you were not warned or baninated.

Ok, he was banned for posting it, then posting it again while you sat in the dark playing with your special features. In my culture, we don't quote the #1 rule of the internet in our signature blocks then pull weak-ass moves like that.

Do not re-post something that a mod has deleted. If you continue to do so, you will get banned.
