Where are the mods? A banned member created a new account 2 days after they got banned, and has been allowed to post for a month now. Or is it a new troll with the exact same posting style and opinions?

I'll put this here as well, maybe more appropriate:

Historically there has been little to no guidance on how to moderate the forum, in fact when I was a mod I thought the lack of any overriding philosophy and explicit goals for the forum created an environment of inconsistency. There was no guiding principle of moderation.

Lately I've come across several blatant personal attacks in threads (of which I was not involved) and reported them. I never saw action on either and was certainly surprised by the lack of moderator action. I have never felt that way before.

I am being taught that a) personal attacks are now acceptable and b) the moderators are not responding to reports as they used to.

Not sure why the apparent change or if it's just perception from a few incidents, but I definitely am wondering if some guidance has finally been offered, and if that guidance has been to give more leeway for whatever reason.

Mods? What's the story here? New guidelines? Random misses of long, drawn-out spats? Nothing has changed?

nothing has changed, in this period we are simply less active for RL reasons and the report system of the new forum is easier to overlook compared to the previous one.

I am just wondering, how many moderators are still regularly online? Feels like it's just Eshnar.

Just checked - sittingbison and ferryman last online 4 days ago, Afrank over 1 week ago. Parrulo and Berzin were online today. 1 or 2 new mods may be useful - not replacing any of the current ones, just as additional help.

I can think of one of those you mentioned that could be replaced. Even if it's with nothing, it'll still be an improvement (for the other mods too).

I admit that lately my activity hasn't been up to what it used to be and as i much i would have loved to say that it was because of the amount of "hoes in different area codes" i have,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUUTjmAyliM( in before joke is taken out of context), truth is college and work have taken priority over the forum.

I still check the forum daily but since i don't post as much as i used to do i can imagine it must feel like i don't even check anymore

There's ray j on the one side and some new sky trolls on the other and currently the signal-to-noise ratio is getting quite low over in the PRR section. I'd hope that when the Giro starts we will have less of all that garbage that is there now.

PS: the new reporting system sucks balls.

Indeed, it seems to me that mods aren't even taking a look at the report tickets. I understand it's easier to overlook now, but you should have the initiative to check it from time to time. :) Unless that's not how it works.

SyroboiII is a troll.

I agree, it's getting to the point where it's just tiresome. As you mentioned let's hope when the Giro is on it calms down.

Also could the mods restore the post where I said ray j was trolling? I don't understand why it was deleted, 3 poster have just basically echoed the sentiments I made in that post.

WTF are talking about

no one deleted your whining about ray... but i am used to the fact you don't quite remember what you post in which thread, much less to follow the forum for its reality ...

ray did not post what you and some other activists, including your bud clones like ? it must be tough to ignore what you can't agree with ?

will you apologize to the mods for accusing them of something they did not do ?...a regular demand you regularly impose on others.

My fault, I told him they had deleted it.

No need for such fulminant protest.

I'm sure you could give me an example of that... Thought not.

I'm quite sure there was a post by Hitch between that one and now in this thread which has been deleted.

wtf are you on ? are you capable of clicking on the link provided just above ?

obviously clicking the link would prove how biased and empty you were...no problem, i will do it for you.

viewtopic.php?p=1688211#p1688211

the Hitch posted:
Also ray j wilings is a troll account which seems to exist purely to cause distruption.

But the mods as a whole seem to have left the forum recently.

as i said before, you were never fit to be a mod, in fact you turned out to rat on the people who trusted you. ugly...

python, in the future it'd do you good to understand what a post means before you respond to it.

I did see that post. So what? Did you read mine? As I wrote, I think there was another one by Hitch that was deleted. Not really that hard to understand.

Regarding "you turned out to rat on the people who trusted you. ugly..." and "for someone who was a mod yet taking such an obvious role in his buddy system views as opposed to the forum functioning" I asked you if you could give me an example of that. Again, not that hard to understand.

Are you feeling well? You're not making any sense. Netserk mentioned a post in this thread, apart from the other one. What sparked the attutude?
