I think it was the father christmas thread where he completely missed the joke and thought Barrus was accusing him of hating children.

I dont think I have seen anyone ever get the wrong end of the stick so badly. Shame he has decided to leave though. Hopefully he will have second thoughts.

Yeah, I actually rate him as a poster so I will miss him being around here.

Why do the mods post in the suspension thread that some clown wants their account closed because their feelings are hurt? These babies are just seeking attention, gladly given by the mods. I mean, if you don't want to post anymore then go away. Most of us don't give a ****.

Kinda like scotty throwing his temper tantrum a couple of months ago because red was mean to him, and now he is back in the politics thread throwing **** around and insulting other posters. Attention seeking children get their fix in CN forums.

:D All this from one of the biggest whiners on the forum? Your post above just screams "look at me!!"

Your sense of irony is weak, but then that's nothing new.

Your trolling used to be much better as well.

You get called on your immature attention seeking "wahhh, they're being mean to me I'm gonna stop posting", and then deflect.

Don't you have some rioting, flipping over cars, etc. to do today in support of your fellow wingnut Joe Paterno instead of worrying about what I am posting?

Well, I was thinking about doing that joke, but.....
Me ? I would have been banned for that comment.

You have to be a longterm and trustful hater to make fun of the mods or accuse them of being a sickpuppet.

wahwahwah.....tears in my eyes from whining.

btw, I think I will get an infraction now for beeing offtopic and trolling this VIP thread. wahwahwah

Well this is very OT....

I'm not getting called on anything. Consistently, your post is lacking facts (again, nothing new) but don't let that slow you down.

What was that you wrote about me insulting others? Are you tired or something? This is pathetic.

Yeah, look at him. He is poet like Dylan.
I think Chris is unique in using English/American language.

I always learn minimum one new word/vocabulary when reading his post.
When Chrissie is in red zone, then it may be even 2 and more new words. :D

.

Listen to this guy with his selective memory loss.

Right, you weren't on the forum whining how people were being mean to you and you weren't gonna post anymore.

I even responded, I think it was in this thread, that you shouldn't leave and I agreed with alot of what you wrote or some such nonsense to stroke your fragile ego.

It was all just a ruse to get you back in here so red wouldn't go insane with no foil to battle.

The new word today cobblestoned is a double doozy: demagoging clown. Google it and watch a pic of scotty pop up.

Most people learn early on not only to stop digging when they are in a hole but not to pop off when they don't have the facts. Once again you demonstrate that, when alone, you are the smartest person in your living room.

...and at least 2 of you know that that type of conversation is not welcome here.

Thread is already closed down.

Also, if anyone is keen to start that discussion up again, don't be surprised if that is without the moderators. We have had that conversation before, it is settled policy, and won't change.

If you have missed it, just reread this thread, and several other comments mods have made around the forum over the years. By the time you are finished, hopefully the racing season will have kicked off again, as it seems some of you are as bored as we are.

well, im just wondering aloud here with regard to how some posters are handling their mod warnings…

sure enough, i had those too (and, tbh, as indignant as i felt at the time, i tried to heed them in a hurry), so i might as well share my thoughts in the mod forum as to why some users don't behave like i thought they should…

why would a poster with a guillotine hanging over his/her head blatantly ignore the mod warnings ?

a quick guesswork on my part yields the following guesses:

(i) he/she is not paying attention due to some clinical or other health-related reasons;
(ii) he/she is not focused on (that is distracted from) the mod warning by the passionate exchange of diverging yet frank and well meant opinions taking place in the thread at the time of the warning;
(iii) he/she is willingly and intentionally ignoring the mod warnings despite the history of numerous warnings and bans on the very same issue - publicly insulting other members intelligence when involved in a disagreeable discussion..

as far as can judge from a multi-year experience, one poster banned today (i’m dropping the handle as it’s rather obvious who he is), and frankly his identity is pretty immaterial to the larger point of my posting - why they behave that way, - has fulfilled the option (iii) above so well, that it can’t be described as anything but a deliberate, obnoxious attitude designed to both insult a user being in a disagreement with and to ‘send an effing message to the powers to be (‘I was, am and will be me-me-me despite of you').

to repeat my larger point…why some users are so willingly ignorant and why are they still around after so many failures and the burdens they impose on the moderating crew ?

Why is this idiot allowed to post about another forum user after multiple warnings from the mods?

what the moderators fail to understand is that i can't help the other members with their problems when they won't allow a valuable resource like the "what's wrong with other users" topic to remain open. but hey, it's your loss..........

can a mod look at my request?
I looked, seems to be fine where it is, a lot of the posts are about wonder lance in the clinic anyway, it does no harm leaving it where it is.

yep, I thought the same thing when I saw the original request - staying there is alllows people to make jokes about people's comments on doping etc with no fear of any issues
