I'm a little surprised too. It was a fair point that webvan who under these rules could have half his posts deleted, was acting like a hypocrite. He's on record numerous times teasing and mocking people who find performances suspicious, but for Nibali he seems to have switched 180 degrees and is espousing the same views he has attacked before.

However, just to answer the implied question/accusation - I don't see the "bait". He's expressing an opinion. There is no way to prove or disprove it, and there are others who think the same thing. Doesn't pass the sniff test.
