Why is it not possible to put mods on ignore?

If they can troll the clinic, then I should be able to ignore them.

I haven't been following along today, but...did Parker become a mod?

Just an observation, and not much more, buy maybe a mod could lock down the Q & A sub-forum?
http://forum.cyclingnews.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27

It hasn't put to use since the trial run with JV, and it became obsolete when JV started posting regularly in his own, special thread. :)

But others have attempted to start threads within that sub-forum, apparently ignorant of the intentions of that particular location.

There appears to be no use for it whatsoever.

Can some mod please tell me why certain posters are allowed to accuse me of trolling and others to mock me on account of the country I come from in the Brailsford thread in the clinic.

Thats if there are still any mods left
Maybe others would take you more seriously if you weren't trolling so often. Just a word of advice.

Ah another accusation of trolling, go to the Brailford thread and show me the post where I am trolling please, otherwise you could just keep out of it.
Why would I do that? Unlike you I don't want to bury that thread with "you're trolling" "no I'm not". First you troll, then when others take note of it you strike with the 2nd wave of bait. It's working, I give you that, but I don't won't to help you burying another Sky related thread with meta comments and complaints that don't belong in that thread.

Currently most of the recent posts in that thread are OT and a result of your baiting. No one would miss them if they were deleted.

I don't understand why having a contrary view from the mainstream cynicism is automatically condemned as trolling. The regulars are clearly taking the view that anyone who disagrees with their opinion is trolling. It's happened to me. It's not supposed to be how it works. There's a pack mentality in play, to drive out opposition to the party line.

Why is is better to drive out contrary opinion and spend all day agreeing with each other?

(This is post an attempt to express a point of view to you, not trolling!)

Somebody says there are no active mods. If so that's a great shame.

Don't worry, it's not.

And there's nothing 'automatically' about the reaction towards del. It's not like he joined yesterday and immediately was labelled a troll before he did any trolling. No, del has earned it.

I think it would be better if we stopped use the words troll and skybot...
They aren't dressing up any argument nicely... Often ends with counters of similar character.. And then it just goes on and on.....

Well I thank you for saying what you believe.

However, has it now come to the point that he is judged harshly because the opinion against him is formed already?

If so, what hope is there that he can counter the opinions with which he disagrees? Why should he not be allowed to do so freely?

If it has turned round so that, rather then harassing others, he is the one who cannot post without being harassed, I can understand how he would feel.

Please point out the posts which are trolling, you can link to them here if you want.

It seems that you are trolling me,

Hang on a minute. You accuse someone of trolling every 2nd post. In fact here are 3 consecutive posts made by you a few weeks ago over a time span of about 15 minutes.

what changing a comma to a full stop, big deal, only trolls would make an issue of this, like you, theHog, theHitch et al, hope that makes you happy I called you a troll, something new for you to whine about, I am out of here now.

So I don't quite understand how you can complain that people are "allowed to" accuse you of trolling. Well if it wasn't allowed you would kinda be banned by now no?
