Tool - Aenima, Lateralus and 10,000 Days. Can't wait for the next album! Why do they have take 5-6 years between LP's?

Heart of Glass - Blondie

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jxpe1oSp_sg

Nearly had a tree crash down on me on Sunday due to high winds and rain (tree had literally missed me by a meter) during a ride, but was successfuly able to swerve around it.

The moral of this story is - you can never practice bike handling enough.

(As usual that later bit was a bit of an aside.)

Didnt 10000 days have multiple delays as well? That album was a bit of a letdown for me, not as good as their previous work I think.

I havent really been paying much attention to tool after that because I knew it would take them an eternity to come up with a new album.

Now I read that "early 2014 seems most likely" for the new album and Im almost getting a little excited. Damn it.

Yeah, 10,000 Days was delayed due to production issues, Tool are total audiophiles and are beyond pedantic when it comes to audio quality.

I thought 10,000 Days had some very strong moments, Tool at least try to push the envelope. Can be hit and miss at times though. Jan-Feb is what I've heard too so hopefully the new LP is out by Easter :D

I love these guys - I haven't heard anyone who really comes close to sounding like them.

Tric Rider... you gotta be old as dirt to outsmart them trees ;)
Thankfully the tree gave me a warning, I could hear something cracking nearby while I was riding. I'm just glad it wasn't an electric pole.

And yes, I'm as old as dirt, just to give you an idea I had just entered my teens when this album came out. Still a kicking album even nowadays.

Right, so my bike isn't the bestest, nor is it the most expensive, nor the fastest, nor the lightest. But do you road cyclists seriously need to spit when you go by me?

I'll tell you one thing, sweethearts, you have no idea what I am training for. (I may just be your super dom in the future, yo.)

And on that note, I need a bit of music!
