Ashcroft always has that orchestra synth thing, his voice has some gravel and grind to it, not Stereophonics level grit but sounds a bit aged.I always like Bittersweet Symphony but it was used for years as a radio bumper for Rush Limbaugh's long running talk show so I had difficulty enjoying it afterwards. And there was always a thing about he never got any money.. Big business drama
