Thanks!
He looks to be in remarkable shape for someone that's 79 years old, and to still be able to sing the way he does is really special. We could all only dream about being in his condition at 79, I feel like if I still have my wits about myself when I get to be that age it will be a miracle.Echoes said:I shuddered when I saw Kenny Rogers so frail at his Farewell Concert (last Wednesday). Then again he is 79 and he still could sing! But time to retire, I'm afraid.

Dolly on the other hand still has it!
Chris Stapleton performed Don Schlitz' The Gambler which Kenny made a hit in 1978 (Grammy Award winner, I think). A colleague of mine played that song on his jukebox and so I've been listening to it for the last few weeks and playing it on my guitar. Many like the Schlitz but Kenny's version sounds much smoother to me. Don Schlitz should just be credited for the writing, I think, which is already praiseworthy.
I don't know all their work, but I really loved The Hunting Party, and A Line In The Sand, though they were never gonna play that here.Netserk said:Neat. My favorite LP song is probably Pushing Me Away.
