Who cares about the sound mix, I'm just glad Metallica is still even able to play live and fill an entire stadium at their age! (Meaning they have not been downgraded to playing county fairs like many bands of their era have been.)
Great point. Their health looks good & James Hetfield remarkably still has a decent voice. These venues that they're playing at are big time football & soccer stadiums where they're packing people in like crazy.

And keeping all four members together for these arduous long tours that travel overseas is very impressive. These guys aren't young anymore & they don't move as well on stage as they did years ago (it's hard to believe that Hetfield is 60 years old!). But to be on their feet performing at their age for an hour & half night after night, venue after venue, is unbelievable in itself.

I read up on Lars Ulrich a bit and I'm sure every Metallica fan already knows this, but, apparently he moved to the States from Denmark to become a tennis pro. A tennis player vs. a legit and legendary rock musician? I think Ulrich made the right decision! :tearsofjoy:

B version...Edgar Winter. Listen to Johnny Winter And....Live. The version of Jumpin' Jack Flash kinda indicates where their collective "energy" was at and an incredible live show in Fla.
Good thing Johnny backed down on his training meds and revisited the blues buddies from Texas. He's have moved on to the Texas Roadhouse in the sky sooner if he hadn't.

PS. Listen to 2nd Winter while you're at it. A great album and good follow up to Progressive Blues...
