There are hundreds of bands playing straight ahead rock and roll and absolutely killing it.. The number of bands has exploded and while the number of places to discover them has also grown.. Nowhere close.. If I had to guess most bands just give up..

Looking back, Bread & Roses was one of the best things to come out of the folk punk explosion, and also one of the few bands that leaned more heavily on actual folk, country and bluegrass (as opposed to just playing acoustic punk)
