On a completely different planet I'm a sucker for Western inspired music. Woke up to this at sunrise the other morning and got emotional about the great West.

Right up there with Leonard Nimoy and Shatner....
I agree on the generation of performers coming out of the TS universe. We get real acoustical wizards here and the music fests in Stanley local family with occasional artists looking for the real.Wow!! I get the totally opposite reaction. I spent the majority of my life in the West. I personally think that Taylor Sheridan and anyone who writes like him, produces TV shows like him should be locked up.. Anyone who ever worked on Yellowstone or any of the dozens of spin offs should be blackballed. When I see median housing price in lots of Montana is over a million dollars. Most of Arizona has all cowboy and western characteristics bulldozed over and replaced by stucco strip mall with a Jamba Juice and Chipolote..My streaming service just offered up The Madison which is another Western TV nighttime soap opera starring Kurt Russell and Michelle Phiffer..Kurt has played a great cowboy too many times to count, now he is in another Western about real life, were billionaire goes from NY and pretending to be a cowboy because he can buy the uniform. Your music selection also reminds me of panoramic overhead shots showing the beautiful expanse of the old wide open West.. Currently cowboy country has more Mercedes G Wagons and @$100,000 Jeeps than Ford F100s with no hubcaps and bales of hay in the back,
I miss seeing guys with the timeless Copenhagen or Skoal ring on the pocket of their Wranglers or a leather belt that won't retire from service until it breaks..I know cowboys, real cowboys still exist but the goat roper ratio is way too high..

You know I am just blowing smoke.. California grows @18-20% of the food for US, beef and it's byproducts including awesome cheese ..I am complaining about cowboy to goat roper ratio but if I need to see, hear, smell cowboys, country music, it's not far. Mexico has a similar phenomenon with millions of people enjoying music you would hear at a ranch or rodeo but more and more building and people move to cities ..I agree on the generation of performers coming out of the TS universe. We get real acoustical wizards here and the music fests in Stanley local family with occasional artists looking for the real.
I gotta say your offering takes some visual Tums to digest, though.
We have a few G wagons, Tesla truck (laughably mockable as rolling art pieces go), Grenadiers are the wealthy/hipster transition from Range Rovers but this is mostly in Ketchum. Smart guys have a resto-truck for driving out and anything used for our narrow offroads get the Valley pinstripe treatment. Most locals drag their side by sides to those spots and are delightfully respectful of gravel and MTB riders. They all ride too.
Still have flatbeds with Healers riding atop the tool box. Working trucks outnumber pampered ones 'cause theres only one road in/out that's pave, here.
All music from the Americas had roots. Seeds came from Europe and Africa, some probably Central America. Hard to be too offended when surf music is 95% Indian music (the country) and Middle East influences. Even Zappa had a tune in his head when he wrote Peaches en Regalia. Knowing him it might have been 4 intertwined tunes. Never heard oompah except slight rhythm influence from the Turtles/Flo and Eddie in Happy Together.View: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pC7a27zE2fs&list=PL_5VUQTurEfTNiFh5BkcTX784bTKvxMOk&index=1&pp=iAQB8AUB
It really irritates Mexicans when I play some German music which has a bunch of crossover instruments , sounds and technique with my favorite song driver..good tuba player..

Someone can get it right, but it's called something like@ Dikenbachen music.. Someone here who knows German, Germany will know what I mean.. Music from a fest or beer tent..
Sounds like Jeff Buckley merged with Israel Nash.View: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TLkpjlM72Sk&list=RDTLkpjlM72Sk&start_radio=1&pp=ygURTmVzdHMgaW4gdGhlIGhhbGygBwE%3D
If this is the nest you are talking about, it's actually pretty cool
