Anyone grew up with GTA games?

The GTA soundtracks are the greatest albums ever. Particularly vice city and San Andreas which were set in the years 1984 and 1991 and so millions were spent making the radio stations authentic.

San Andreas had an awesome Country station - K rose of which every song i love, as well as a very good soft rock station - KDST. Radio X was also Awesome.

Music was great still the 1990's, it started going downhill form early 21st century.

Fully agree. 21st century is awful for music.

And that song you link, the guys voice sounds a lot like AXL Rose.

Those are some very emotional videos for me.

Only Disney songs are more likely to put tears in my eyes than reminding myself of the Vice City and San Andreas times.

Edit: and this is some epic stuff

But its only in the game that the real music brilliance of it is seen.

I never did much GTA except a few demos. I was much more of a COD guy, which is partly where I got my forum tagname from (not same as my Xbox Live name)... other part being I like big dogs. Catchy tunes in GTA tho.

GTA owns in every department. Wake me up when in COD you can hijack an airplane from LAX, fly to San Francisco and Parachute onto the highest building;)

I played some of these games so much I cant imagine some legend songs without the GTA voiceover.

Yeah, COD doesn't give players as much liberty to improvise the plan. BTW, speaking of Radio X, that sounds a bit like Rage Against the Machine lead vocalist or Tom Morello as lead guitar. Do you know who the group is or who's doing the vocals in your last Youtube link?
Rage Against the Machine - Bulls on parade (Tom's in the baseball hat).
