My Chorus is mixed up

I have '04, '06, '08 Chorus gruppos which, over the years, have had various parts switched from bike to bike. I'd like to get the gruppos united again.
How can I differentiate each years parts from another?
I think the aero brakes were from the '04 gruppo (??), but what other drive train differences?
What year was the black?
Is this too much to list?
Is there someplace I can reference with photos?
