Pellizzotti was definitely the strongest of the last remaining riders, and the strongest won. It was really deserved.

Quite disappointed by Nibali, yet he just finished altitude training so maybe he's not at his best yet...we'll see.

Overall this was an AWESOME and thrilling race.

Allthough I don't want to go off-topic too far. The UCI never has to protect riders that use doping, but I think I know what you mean. The UCI is a cowardly organisation filled with corruption that doesn't really fight doping at all.

Having seen the last 3 laps, I would say that it was an interesting race, but not quite as great as people suggest.

This was more a bash of the "victory for clean cycling" folk. Nibali himself I don't really mind.
