Most interesting games.

DEN@NYJ - In London. If Jets fall to 0-6, is it time to fire Glenn and hire the man they should have, Rex Ryan? o_O
LAR@BAL - If Ravens lose they go to 1-5. Less than 1% of teams in NFL history starting 1-5 made the playoffs.
SEA@JAX - I think the Seahawks are a more complete team. Should be a really good game though.
SF@TB - The run of wins for SF ends here. But it still could be a good game I think.
DET@KC - Game of the week maybe.

Two games on Monday night. BUF@ATL, and CHI@WAS.

If the Chiefs offense plays like the last two weeks it could be the game of the year. Lions dline will be a menace for the Chiefs oline and run game while the Chiefs should have a good answer to the Lions run game. I don’t think Chiefs have ever played a team though with a good speed and power back. Both teams love going for it on fourth down and trick plays. I think Lions 31-24. Goff is also undefeated against Mahomes.

And Ryan could in bring in "pea-shooter" Jones as his QB. Lol.

You say teams that start off 1-5 have less than a "1% " chance of making the playoffs? Then with a Ravens loss, it's over & they're not going to the postseason. Imagine not making the playoffs with a "Tier 1" QB & one of the top RBs in the league. I would think Harbaugh would be fired under those circumstances.

Wilson bought Dart time. Time to learn some. That's about it.
It's interesting because with Dart you get a dual-threat that can throw the ball - the same style of play that defined Wilson in his prime.

Wilson has just declined so rapidly with age both in passing skills & of course in his mobility & athleticism (I think he's in denial that he's dropped off so bad). At least Rodgers still seems to have his arm losing mostly in his mobility while Wilson seems to have lost both.

Ravens need a boil over win to get back on track but against the Rams who will be stung by the loss to the 49ers B team, it's probably unlikely. Ravens without Jackson and their best defense makes it even tougher. But then again no one was picking the 49ers to beat the Rams either.......

Like the Lions to beat the Chiefs. think they are playing the more consistent football.

Hawks and Jaguars should be a good one. Maybe the Hawks in a close one.

Colts and Cardinals will probably be a weird one because all of the Cards games have been weird lately !

49ers and Buccs could be the game of the week. Both teams are 4-1 but statistically shouldn't be, both teams are banged up including being without their best WR's. Mayfield is at his peak while Jones is doing much better than expected. Jones has a knee and an oblique injury so maybe Martinez will see some playing time. The 49ers will be desperate to get their run game going especially with their QB situation. The Hawks ran the ball well against the Buccs last week. Mayfield has never beaten the 49ers but will probably never get a better opportunity especially if the QB problems become a thing for the 49ers. Jones barely finished the game last week and barely practiced this week. 49ers get Mustapha back on the secondary, but Kittle won't be back till next week.

Same old Jets. What a pathetic loss. Granted, Denver has an excellent defense. But horrible clock management at the end of the first half. Then, at the very end of the game when you really need to call your best play, they have one of the most mobile QBs in the NFL just drop back, almost lazily, to pass into. pocket they knew couldn't hold, after he'd been sacked numerous times. This is the kind of game, the kind of play calling, coaching, that loses a team, and the Jets earned this loss.

And I'm not going to defend Fields anymore. He looks like he just doesn't have it. Consistently poor decision making. There's a reason Mike Tomlin is the coach of the Steelers, and I'm not. Fields future career will be as a backup.

Agree with everything you state. That was an absolutely pathetic performance by the Jets - they literally gave the game away. The Broncos didn't bring their A game to London. They left their running game back in Denver....RJ who? Lol. Nix just did just enough to get by - he certainly didn't look like any playoff-caliber QB. They were 7.5 pt favorites. It was the perfect "trap game" for the Jets to take advantage of. Fortunately for the Broncos, their defense won the day.

I agree - Fields doesn't have it as a starter in this league. Totally effective offense: 9-17 for a dismal 45 yds passing, no scores. Sacked 9 times. The team's total offense was a pathetic 82 yds with -10 passing yds. Are you kidding me...-10 passing? Worst of all the Jets get the ball on a change of possession at around mid-field with 2 mins to go only needing a FG to take the lead & possibly win the game. Fields can't even get the 20 or so yds necessary to get into FG range. Unbelievable.

There's a reason now why Tomlin jettisoned Fields & instead is going with a 41 yr old, way past his prime QB. Lol.

Great win by the Chiefs who played well in all 3 phases bar the missed PAT. Lions bit themselves in the foot with illegal motion and St Brown dropped pass but even with those I think Chiefs still win. They got more stops and were moving very efficiently. Mahomes had another crazy fumble recovery! Rice coming back will be good for them and I think they’ll finish with 4 or 5 losses now, most likely 4. Raider should be a cakewalk for the Chiefs. Lions will be happy when all their defensive starters come back but overall they played better than the offense. It’ll be a tough game against the Bucs on MNF who had his own Mahomes plays.

Speaking of Bucs, they looked great out there and I think will be the one seed with Baker potentially being the MVP. His first down run breaking 4 tackles to pick up 14 yards was crazy.

Chiefs still the cream of the AFC west crop, and right now 12-5, plus a division title, looks likely. Until someone knocks them off they are at least the AFC kings.
I haven’t watched any Jets game, has Fields played similar to last year or has he regressed?
Regressed. Today was perhaps his worst game as a pro. And every game this year has been worse than every game he played for the Steelers last year. He's basically back to where he was when in Chicago, maybe worse.
He can't coach if he has to visit Mark Sanchez in whatever prison he will go to in Indiana..
You know if the judge really wants to punish him, he could sentence Mark to go back and play for the Jets for 5 years.

Tomlin just making his case as a great head coach even better with that than Rodgers playing better.

They could make Sanchez continue to rewatch the butt fumble for the 5 years.

Chiefs took it to the Lions. I thought it'd be a lot closer. Mahomes a very solid game with 3 passing TDs & a rushing TD. And Mahomes has been running the ball like crazy lately: 10 carries for 42 (2nd leading rusher). He's now averaging 31 yds a game (by comparison his career average per game is only 20 yds). I think he's gone from a mobile pocket passer to dual-threat as he gets older. Lol. His QBR (75) is 4th highest (however, he might want to consider sliding more instead getting hit hard fighting for extra yardage). The KC faithful should feel better now - the Chiefs at 3-3 & just a game behind Denver & LAC.

Nice fight after the game, reminds of the fights you see a lot in the joint practices during preseason:

Watched the 2nd half of the Panthers-Cowboys. What a victory by the Panthers who are now 3-3. Rico Dowdle was on fire - 183 yds rushing + 56 yds receiving + 1 TD. What a bargain blowout he is at $6m/1 yr! And Bryce Young looked really good - threw the ball very well with only one turnover. He looked confident & in complete command of the offense. If he continues to play well & the team is winning, this could be his breakthrough season.

I haven't had a chance to watch highlights of the other games, but I hear they're celebrating in Vegas with the Raiders big win over the Titans. Lol

Calling the Jets games would be punishment enough.............

Another big blow to the 9ers. Could be a long & arduous comeback for Warner.
What a warrior Warner has been for the 49ers He's missed one game in his entire NFL career. He played most of 23 with a hairline fracture of his foot. Couldn't have come at a worse time with Bosa already gone for the season and most of the rookie draft class on defense already playing. Sounds pretty much like the injury Dak Prescott had when he broke his ankle. As the captain of the defense it's an even bigger blow for the 49ers experience wise.

Cards played better, against the Colts and Brissett also filled in well for Murray but Jonathan Taylor was a problem in the ground game and had too many chunk plays for the Colts. Eventually they wore them down. McBride did well for the Cards.

Chiefs had the game with the Lions under control and the Chiefs defense looked more like themselves. Solid win.

Hawks defense was too good for the Jags and Darnold outplayed Lawrence. Jags look pedestrian when their run game isn't dominating.

As expected the Rams were too good for the Ravens. Henry tried hard but the Rams were too good on both sides of the ball.

Buccs were too good for the 49ers who were back to their sloppy ways. Jones was under constant pressure with the 49ers o line being out gunned again and the Buccs were getting easy yards on the ground especially after Warner went out. 49ers season is in the balance. Their offense will improve with some of the injury returns but the lack of depth on defense and the o line means they probably won't keep winning the close games and their run game has struggled. Pineiro's boot kept them in the game until the 4th quarter. 49ers should be one of the active teams before the trade deadline, looking to bolster their stocks.

If I was Fields I would call Kurt Warner and ask what grocery store he was working at..
