Now Deshaun waives any negotiations with Seattle. Seattle exhales, farts and wonders if Gardner's mustache is even larger. Go Hawks!
Think he gave the Colts the same message. He obviously has his preferred destinations. Heaven forbid their standards around the locker rooom are not as good as the Texans.....................

I will say, as much as I’m happy Brady unrestored/returned/whatever we want to call it, I’m also sad that we had the majority of those nice posts and it went all for not.

Does anyone know about Brady’s cap situation and if him retiring before the signing bonus freed up cap space for TB? Since I’ve been seeing a lot of people starting to say that now.

As it stands, Brady is set to make $10,395,588 in 2022 while counting $20,270,588 against the cap. $8.925 million of that was due on February 18 and the remaining is a $1,470,588 17th game roster bonus.

From what I understand his contract continues as if he never left because he didn't officially retire and no paperwork was lodged. So now the Bucs will be scrambling to extend the contracts of others and move some money into the future as they are still in cap trouble and Brady will keep his signing bonus.

Two good pick ups for the Bills with Von Miller and OJ Howard.
Buff is getting stronger! I hope that Von remembers what the weather in DEN was like because, BUF doesn't have warm winters.

Then it has been rumored from both sides Brady is heavily trying to recruit Julio Jones to the Bucs to make something special happen. Also rumored that since he announced his “comeback” he was heavily recruiting the Bucs free agents to stay.

The old JJ would be a great addition, but the recent JJ, I don't know. He dealt with several small injuries and a big one, but he wasn't great this year.

Just has to be great in a few moments with Godwin and Evans there. Plus running backs and Gronk (almost certain he returns). The good thing with Brady is everyone gets the ball so Jones wouldn’t be the focus as much and take as many hits.

Speaking of the Browns: some fellow SEA fans down the street a few blocks told me that Cooper going to CLE was to entice Watson, and then Mayfield was going to SEA. I'm not sure that I can do that! :tearsofjoy:
So this is getting closer to being real. Baker wants out of CLE and SEA is courting him (based on a few reports).

I like the money to rating comparison:
"Fresh off a brief tenure in Indianapolis that ended in disappointment, Wentz has an average annual salary that currently ranks ninth among quarterbacks at $32 million. According to my win-share metrics, he was QB19 in 2021."

Not a good ratio!

EDIT: Not that rankings tell the entire story...
