IF Stafford can stay healthy, and he's not the only one, the Rams might be able to grab just enough pieces in FA to make another serious run.

Raiders in full rebuild. The only thing that article got wrong is they don't need an edge as much as they need a DT, and linebackers, and...well, how much of a list do you want?!

I just can't get over that $80.7m cap hit the Browns have because of Watson. For Steeler, Bengal and Raven fans, the Browns are just the gift that keeps on giving.

Starting to think the Browns have to be sold to improve, they are such a debacle. No wonder Schwartz had enough. See how Garrett feels in a couple of years ! Rams have two first round picks and a good GM at the helm. Trading up in the draft for an elite player wouldn't surprise me. or using them in free agency. They were probably hoping to find a replacement for Stafford but it's the wrong draft for that apart from the number one pick who everyone believes will become a Raider. Supposed to be a very good draft for WR's and RB's. Not exactly a need for the Rams at the moment. Not a good O line draft either supposedly.

Maybe not a rebuild but a 1st year success like in the cases of Washington, Houston & Denver they had with their rookies QBs? Mandoza is being compared to Matt Ryan by many analysts. In fact, Bleacher scouting report says Mendoza is a " Matt Ryan with mobility."

The impact that Mendoza had on Indiana winning the NC and all is similar to the impact that Jayden Daniels had on LSU his senior year. Both are Heisman winners and both won a bunch of postseason awards (e.g, Davey O'Brien, Walter Campbell, Manning, Johnny Unitas, All-American, etc) Though both have entirely different playing styles (hardcore dual-threat vs mobile pocket passer), they share elite passing skills, high football IQ & great leadership qualities (one thing that Mendoza has over Daniels is elite size).

Barring a disastrous preseason or unforeseen injury, Mendoza will be at the helm come opening week. And it's not like he won't have any weapons to work with; Casper 2.0, Babybull Jeanty & Speedy Tre Tucker would make any OC salivate. And I'm sure Kubiak can figure out how to shore up that OL. Perhaps Kubiak can take a chapter out of Kingsbury's book and run RPO spread with Mendoza - his primary offense at Indiana.

Check out the game winning drive with the hurry up offense against Penn St. This is the kind of stuff Daniels was doing at LSU (I wonder if the announcer had a heart attack on the TD pass? Lol).

I suppose it's possible. Another roadblock is the AFC West plays the NFC West next year, so the Raiders will have a very difficult schedule, on top of all their needs.

There are Mendoza critics out there, my guess is they just don't like the Raiders, or are Buckeye or Hurricane fans. But I am personally sold on Mendoza. I can't possibly see the Raiders budging from the pick.

I can't watch (much) football in vertical format. Here's highlights to that whole game, and Mendoza's amazing throws (and some runs!). Incredibly clutch, and his receivers deserve all the credit they get too.

Yeah. Being bad is one thing but being deeply horrible with that contract burden would take a decently run team a decade to undo. Sell it. Move it. Let a fresh franchise come to Cleveland and never speak of it again.

Interesting take here. He's got the Jets signing Murray, the Cardinals taking Tua, the Vikings looking at either Cousins or Carr (if he unretires), and the Steelers looking at Cousins if Rodgers decides to retire or jumps ship to the Vikings (there's some speculation that Rodgers wants to play in Minn).

Chiefs need to get;
a big receiving target type ie: AJ Brown or Evans but idk if either would play for less but someone else of this mold,
A better, faster running back,
Beef up their dline and secondary a smidge,
Maybe a new kicker

With that they’d already be better than this year. It’d all just depend on how Mahomes recovers. People are also hyping Hill to return but with Worthy and Thorton they have two speedy receivers without the injuries and baggage of Hill. On top of Hill needing more surgeries.

Since the Chiefs have no problem with men who abuse women, they might as well sign Hill.

That restructuring means the Chiefs know they have a limited window with Mahomes. Banking on the next couple. years to get another ring. The bill will come due after that, like it has with Watson. Only Mahomes can actually play football, win them games, though I think his mobility will take a hit after this injury (and he is a good person).

I don't understand that payout for restructuring of the contract but can Mahomes possibly be paid even in years when he is retired? I ask because I remember something like that from recent player bios I watched

A better, faster running back,
Pacheco has decent size at 215 & is one fastest RBs at 4.37. For some reason, he's just not the same after the surgery for the broken leg in 2024. Plus I think he's had some concussions. If you look at that 2023 SB season, Pacheco was on fire with CMC-type scrimmage yards. He was looking like the steal of the century coming from the 7th rd. Then came the broken leg & nothing has been the same since.

And the Chiefs RB room isn't looking the best. Hunt is getting old & can't handle everydown back duties. Brashard Smith is another speed burner, but at a buck 94, he's a dual-role back & not a workhorse grinder. They signed Dameon Pierce to the PS late last year from Houston. He's got good size but average speed. The 4th rounder had an impressive rookie year with Houston earning the starting job midway through the season, but has since decline ending up as the 3rd string back at the time of his release

Some mocks have the Chiefs taking Jeremiyah Love with their 9th pick (if available by then). He's the premier back of this class - the Aston Jeanty of this draft so to speak. Size, speed, pass catching skills, power & elusiveness - he's got it all.

Whether they draft Love or go the FA route, they have to do something about that running game. You can't have Mahomes being the team's leading rusher for several games during the season. He was running so much last season, I thought it was LJ out there. Lol.

Ahhh yes, the "buy us a new stadium or we're moving!" trick. Kansas fell for it, why not Indiana? Might as well change the name of the team then. The Gary Bears! I like it!

They've got maybe two years as I see it, before Mendoza and the Raiders dominate the division for the next decade.

Combine starts Monday.

jaxson Dart a mobile QB with multiple concussions already. Tua the same . Even Josh Allen has paid for it with the injuries mounting up although he has avoided a major injury but like Mahomes he usually times his scrambles better than Dart and Tua. Murray another one that has had his share of injuries. But good defenses often get to the QB anyway with blitzes or blocking errors. Concussions meant the end for Steve Young as well. The final one retired him. Little wonder that Brady lasted so long without trying to scramble and with superior field processing. Mayfield took a lot of punishment last season as well even though he takes the hits better than most All it takes is one mistimed tackle or a slide that's badly timed
