See you next weekend, TR! :)
Ouch, I was dead wrong about Auburn, good for you, Alpe!

Duke is out by merely one point - thank you Spartans, I'm giggling like a little schoolgirl right now. :D

Maybe not all is lost, my nephew goes to Texas Tech, so maybe I can find a way to cheer them on. I kinda like the Spartans, though, so, yeah.

Wowza! Great game and a finish for the ages.

March on, TR ... march on. :)

By way of miracle I am still somehow in the game (and so is Virginia!) Crikes, that was close.

I had the game on in the background and was in the middle of an intense online game, but definitely started paying attention to the last .6 second free-throw. Virginia really lucked out!

I don't know much about Texas Tech (other than that I have a TT blanket my brother got me because his son goes there), so have no idea how to call the final game. Hope it'll be a good one.

Hahaha, Lakers is such a shitty franchise. They are hilarious and has been for a long while now.

My pick for the playoffs? Warriors. Woah, going out on a limb there.

ESPN couldn't do without the Lakers............I think the Bucks will play the Warriors in the final. Bucks/Toronto would be a good series for the Eastern conference final. At the moment I think those two are better than the 76ers and Celtics.

Warriors throwing away a 31 point lead. WTF?

When they lose it's often by large amounts. I think Kerr sees that his team is not into it early and occasionally he just sits and lets them figure it out on their own instead of calling a timeout. Sometimes they work through it but on occasion they don't. Phil Jackson used to do the same with the Bulls. I think Kerr (and Jackson) uses it as a learning exercise for his players. In this case their leader wasn't there, on the court at the time, to steady the ship. Last night he sat Curry with 4 fouls in the 3rd with the Warriors up big, and that was the beginning of the collapse.
Durant seemed to not have his head in the game with 9 turnovers, one more than the number of shots he took, and he eventually fouled out. That would be the first two games of his team's playoff season that he didn't even make it to the end of regulation. I'm more concerned by Durant's seemingly casual, passive-aggressive play than this loss.
Also the loss of Cousins is also a problem as he was to be the counter to Houston's Cliff Capela at center. Luckily they brought on Bogut at season's end, an acquisition that will lessen the pain of potentially having lost Cousins for the remainder of the playoffs.

Beverley getting up Durant's nose and it seems to be working. Biggest turnaround in NBA playoff history. Kerr won't be happy about that.

Also I just remembered that Durant was thrown out of their final regular season game also. Last three games he hasn't found it within himself to make it to the end of regulation. He's checked himself out mentally. He's also not made any media appearances in at least 2 weeks primarily because of his inability to handle questions asked about his upcoming free agency and most recently of course, his behavior on the court that effects his play. He is a major disappointment in how he deals with the media and his lack of mental toughness.

It seems that the referees are unhappy with the verbal abuse they have been taking from certain Warriors players this season. Maybe a touch of arrogance. Not surprisingly the Clippers players are being allowed to be more aggressive in this series than probably usual. Durant for one has had a poor record all season with the refs.

Nuggets taking it to the Spurs -- one more win and it's on to the next round with the Trailblazers. :)

Yeah OKC need a reset. the coach will survive if he is lucky. I had a feeling that Denver would come back. Great result for Portland. While Phoenix have gone through four coaches in four years............

Clippers grab another win over the Warriors. I think Denver will close out their series with the Spurs. Some great second round match ups.

Warriors are experiencing what most repeat champions do: the inability to maintain that same intensity that they had earlier in their championship runs. Also the adding of such a talented core has diminished the quality of their bench along with the aging of two of their primary bench stalwarts, Sean Livingston and Andre Igoudala. Missing are such inside out veteran bruisers like Maurice Speights and David West. Their record on the home court and their lack of their previous defensive tenacity are evidence that the wheels have come off of their previously, fine tuned machine. Their only hope of advancing past the Rockets is that Harden continues to have his shooting woes from distance, otherwise this could be the end of their reign of terror on the league.

Yes I give the Rockets a chance and the Warriors bench is a concern. most people expect Durant to leave it seems.

I thought that Denver getting the ball to Jokic and encouraging him to be more aggressive would be the best way to overcome the Spurs. They did and they still lost in spite of Jokic have a huge game and their backcourt shooting fairly well. They just can't stop the Spurs primary scorers, Aldridge and DeRozan. Great series!

Not a great series if you're a Nugget fan here in Denver. I would have preferred them to close it out in SA. Jokic was on fire and Murray had good production but the bench let them down. Only 15 points when they've been averaging 30+ points. The Joker can't do it all. Now a winner-take-all 7th game -- not something we wanted this series to come down to.
