I believe from being told by people in the know (so no official source) that in 2009 when astana was still riding Treks that alot of riders rode a Madone 5.2 badged as 6.5 because they were too light.

are you sure the 6.5s were not sold to cover a budget for 'vitamins'

Wow. That's remarkably understated. Kinda looks like the white jersey instead of a team kit.

Hopefully this is just the angle, but I'm afraid the peloton may be without a yellow team next year!

It looks slightly better than the original HighRoad kit.

I think that this might be BMC's jersey for next year as it is slightly different than this years version. I think most agreed that it was a good jersey so why change it?

I don't mind as long as its only minor tweaks (you wouldn't notice, but Caisse did put minor alterations in their jerseys, for example), but yea, no need for radical upheaval for BMC as they had a nice jersey. Definitely the best of the new-big-money teams (I know, BMC have built up from the ground - but compare their 2010 visibility with 2009, and you'll see what I mean about them being a new team in the REGULAR péloton - as such I saw them as competing with the likes of Radioshack and Sky outfit-wise, and they comfortably won that).

Oh yes please! I've always liked their blue kits, and I like the red, too. It's a great design.

Saddened by Radio Shack's--if that IS their 2011. Despite popular opinion, I thought the textured grey with the red was a really smart look. This seems to be a year of simplifying kits, though: first HTC and now Shack.

Maybe the less flashy designs are meant to give a less aggressive, prima donna, anything-it-takes-to-win look and a more workman-like, "clean" look. Less spectacle and more ethical.

The HTC jersey looks like a poor attempt at channelling their inner Renault-Elf.

FYI I got a first hand look at the new Liquigas-Cannondale 2011 kit that their new apparel sponsor Sugoi is providing. In a word - WOW.

Beautiful kit and a big improvement over the full green kit they wore last year (though that kit was very distinctive and easy to spot).

No images to share though, cameras/phones were checked at the door before seeing the kit.
