God no. We have a new contender for the worst dressed riders in the peloton, for the sole reason that they'll be wearing those hideous helmets.

A Sky train of mesh jerseys will be quite weird. The last time I saw a bunch of men together all wearing semi-transparent black clothing with neon blue accessorizing, it was several years ago in a horrible nightclub with a sticky floor and they kept playing Ministry and VNV Nation.

Black shorts are not allowed by UCI.
You can only combine the WC jersey with a white Bib (like here) or the standard team Bib (if black of course this is allowed, but it's not the case for Merida as far as I know).

But as long as you don't race in 'unofficial' kit, everything is allowed (for photo, PR, sponsors, ...).

I really like that one, it's a difficult colour combination to work with, when talking about Lampre i can accept a loss of brightness.
