The Danish talent Michael Valgren is undergoing a physical transformation to be him lose weight and eventually make him a stage race rider.
"I have now read the part that I'm too thick, so now I'm with the team embarked on a special cure which should get me 4-5 kilos lose weight," reveals Valgren.
The 23-year-old Tinkoff-Saxo rider has just embarked on a Belgian supplements in the style of Nupo-cure and it is not necessarily an easy exercise, because you risking easy to lose muscle mass and therefore strength.
"In the team believed that I could become a better climber. In the tests I made, I tread very fine watt and if I can do it with a weight of 68 kilos, I might be a new Tom Dumoulin or something like that, "says Valgren with reference to the great Dutchman, which this year was very sensational close to winning the Vuelta España.
