The Danish talent Michael Valgren is undergoing a physical transformation to be him lose weight and eventually make him a stage race rider.

"I have now read the part that I'm too thick, so now I'm with the team embarked on a special cure which should get me 4-5 kilos lose weight," reveals Valgren.

The 23-year-old Tinkoff-Saxo rider has just embarked on a Belgian supplements in the style of Nupo-cure and it is not necessarily an easy exercise, because you risking easy to lose muscle mass and therefore strength.

"In the team believed that I could become a better climber. In the tests I made, I tread very fine watt and if I can do it with a weight of 68 kilos, I might be a new Tom Dumoulin or something like that, "says Valgren with reference to the great Dutchman, which this year was very sensational close to winning the Vuelta España.

With one year left on his contract, it can also quickly become necessary to be able to produce good, fresh results in a cycling world where you are not allowed to rest for long on their laurels, and where cash settlement is the preferred currency.

Heard in nearly every male locker room

"I have now read the part that I'm too thick..."

We could wait until he actually, you know, transforms.

Losing weight is often a good idea. It can be done naturally. Riders who do it naturally (or in a way that resembles what you'd expect naturally) improve in some ways but get worse in others. In the case of Valgren, he's not all that good as a time-trialist so it makes more sense to lose weight. We'll see.

Also, the hell are you guys doing analyzing whatever Google Translate spewed up.

Aicar GW1516 Lipotropin cortisone clen testo

should be able to render about 10% of bodymass of a fit cyclist, say, a Michael Matthews of 2013 physique, in a month. In 3 months, with training, and pushing it further, and adding a diet and caloric restriction, a rider like Michael Matthews would get 15%. But he does not wanna be a GC rider as a puncheur/sprinter/Sagan clone. He needs his power and muscle mass to finish with Gilbert like speed.

who was the Russian who did it this year, was it a Katusha rider that won Tirrenno Adriatico, or won the chrono at Tour de Romandie?

Google Translate has botched the last part. And it would be nice to include the whole interview, instead of nit-picking the article, he also explains how he will lose the weight, he will also add protein to his diet and do strength training, and says it will take some time to loose the 4-5kg of weight since he is going to do it the healthy way, he also cut down on the alcohol use during off season, so no partying!

Damn, I just wanted to start the usual "Great transformation predictions for 2016" thread.

No need to guess in the New Clean Era, riders announce it well in advance. He should post some data, before and after.

But let's take it as a plus, at least Bertie may have some support in the mountains.
