LOL'd at the bit, despite his background as a track cyclist.

I found this "Novikov had an impressive season as an Under 23 rider in 2011, finishing third in the mountainous Giro della Valle d'Aosta despite his background as a track ride" funny too. A shame he got busted otherwise in 6-8 years time he'd have won the Tour de France.

Yesterday Novikov was banned by Russian Antidoping Agency for two years since June 6, 2013
