Excluding jersey-wearers during this game is something I'm against ;) Would've picked someone else if that were the case.

Vladimir taking over my top spot, Los Brolin coming closer. After that: Madrazo, 18Valve, Geraint Too Fast, AC, Rote Lanterne. The other two are quite far behind.

As a former giro winner and a darling in Italy I say he is destined for tv time. But of course you don't change the rules during a race.

All pretty close, all these riders are between 14-27 in the GC. 'Luckily' for Pirazzi he wasn't able to stay in front today.

18Valve is out, with Nieve taking a stage win.

Formolo (NairoQ)
Monfort (Vladimir) @3:39
Anton (Los Brolin) @ 7:02
Dupont (Madrazo) @ 7:03
Cardoso (Geraint Too Fast) @ 11:45
Kudus (Rote Laterne) @ a lot
Niemiec (Hugo Koblet) @ even more lots

Currently looking good for me, but I'm not too confident - I can easily see Formolo being allowed a day off duty, which could mean he'll be able to get in a good break and turn out to get in the top ten/win a stage.

For now, I'll have to """hope""" he has to do all he can to keep Uran in a good position.

Could be interesting if they past a certain ammount of time wrote it like that on the results-sheet. :p
"Just forget it. Your time's so bad there's no need to bother!"

Agreed, I don't see him going top 10 from this position. Unless he gets in a break again, but I'd think he'll play safe now.

I hope Formolo wins today to save me from the embarassment of being 'lots' behind at the end of the game. I'd much rather be ruled out for a good result.

Dupont having a good day:

Dupont (Madrazo)
Monfort (Vladimir) @ 8:13
Cardoso (Geraint Too Fast) @ 9:23
Formolo (NairoQ) @ 19:55
Anton (Los Brolin) @ 34:44
Kudus (Rote Laterne) @ 1:05:48

Niemiec already a couple of days out of the race, apparently.

1. Dupont
2. Henao
3. Pirazzi
4. Monfort
5. Cardoso

Is the general top five, I think.

It seems to come down to a battle between Monfort (Vladimir) and Cardoso (GtF) tomorrow, with the former having a 1:18 lead. May the best win!

Cardoso overtakes both Henao and Monfort. GtF seems to have won this one, barring an exceptional sprint from Cardoso.
