Kubis continues to impress.

What a month he's having. Top 10s in both Opening weekend races, was glued to Van der Poel's wheel on the cobbles at Le Samyn, and now he casually closes gaps to Philipsen on cobbles at Nokere. What a rider.

Ah, sorry. I meant permantly split. It never really sticks.

Why work when Philipsen is in your group?

Because their (or their teams) chances might be no worse than going against him in a full bunch sprint? But t I suppose mainly because I wanted more race dynamic. Selfish I know.

They could probably add cobbles to Milano-Torino, which might not be a bad idea...
