Jacquelin's skis must be ridiculous (that or he found a shortcut). Very unusual that neither Boe closed on him

What's after happening to QFM. Kind of looks like he must have had a penalty as he was ok coming into shoot 2 and then only missed one but seemed to lose a minute randomly

Apparently QFM forgot to do his penalty lap and got a penalty. Commentary still haven't mentioned it, just going off Twitter

yeah, didn't do the penalty loop and got 2 minutes added on top instead. Could very well have won otherwise.

Maurice Manificat hangs up the skis at the finish today; will be worth watching the emotions as he crosses the line at the end of a long career. The guy loved to ski race.

Klaebo looking very good so far; does he finally get his big 50k win? Will be interesting to see if anyone can drop him.

Apparetly they used salt after yesterday's race, that helps the fast guys.
Pellegrino looking really good. A shame that Barp isn't healthy and racing...

Pellegrino with absurdly fast skis, he gains positions on every single downhill, skiing past the norwegians.

Klaebo fid what he had to do, but not exactly a spectacular 50km race.

Nyenget and Klaebo with clearly faster skis than Golberg in the end.

I expected a bit more from Poromaa, he raced like he had to (just like Burmann).
Pellegrino at his limit at the end and he just isn't a highspeed double poling monster.

Farewell Momo!

Finally Klæbo wins a 50k race, I almost though Golberg would beat him again but this time he wasn't strong enough. Amundsen got the job done for the overall.

Pellegrino with his best 50k race ever by far. Mannificat can look back with pride on a great career.

The Italians had great skis. If Barp was healthy he could have finished top 5, maybe even on the podium.
For a long distance mass start without Barp or a healthy De Fabiani the Italians did rather well.

Amundsen looks really musclebound, a bit like Bolshunov.

Tandrevold was dumb as hell for pushing coming into that first shoot. No need to take a risk, just got to make sure you shoot 4/5

Braisaz-Bouchet could really have opened up the WC battle here, but her shooting is all over the place, too. Vittozzi is the most consistent, but her ski speed is just a tad too low.

Amazed he managed to win that and getting more points than Tarjei is big. Moronic by Jacquelin but expected by him
