not an expert either, but Mieke Kröger still races her ten year old Scott TT bike, saying it's the best she ever got. So at least in that regard, they seem to have some know how. Guys like Arensman, Edmondson, Eeckhoff etc also used to have better TT results during their Scott years at DSM.For those of us who know nothing about these things, how do Scott bikes (TT and regular) rank in comparison to Factor and the bikes that the other WT teams use?
So NSN (Never Say Never) will be the main (name)sponsor of the team.
It's the entertainment company of Andres Iniesta. A company that's been in some legal trouble lately if I'm correct.
The press release also says NSN bought the license (meaning they bought the team or the company holding the team I guess), so Adams is probably actually gone. There's also something about Stoneweg investing big (but If I understand it correctly they already were involved with the team).

I guess that means that they will also not give Oded Kogut a new contract.
No doubt, some really good wins in Cro Race and Goijkse Pijl this year. With a good schedule he should be able to score atleast 500 points next year.Tbh though Koggy is worthy of a WT contract, no matter his nationality.
Interesting to see what this might mean for Derek Gee.
I guess that means that they will also not give Oded Kogut a new contract, to remove all links to Israel. Will be interesting to see where he ends up.
Marca has edited its article. It now lists all three as staying with the teamNot so sure about that. All three of the current Israeli riders have reposted the NSN "story" on instagram, as have a couple of the devo riders.

I didn't expect that reversed N to work, but it did (Firefox on Windows 11 laptop).
Probably because it's a cyrillic i. So I'm going to pronounce the team name NSI. I hate those marketing gimmick spellings. I also refuse to spell Iphone with the lower-case i. Yes, I'm fun at parties.I didn't expect that reversed N to work, but it did (Firefox on Windows 11 laptop).
If it causes a problem on any other platforms, let me know and I'll put in a normal N.
Sounds like this has the potential for spectacularly imploding within the next WT cycle. Still, if I was riding for the team I would have happily accepted that risk it if it's in exchange for the Adams/Israeli involvement being gone completely, as seems to be the case. A clean break was absolutely needed in multiple respects for the team and the sport alike, so if we are indeed getting one that is unequivocally good news. It's the entertainment company of Andres Iniesta. I should have recognised that.Probably because it's a cyrillic i. So I'm going to pronounce the team name NSI. I hate those marketing gimmick spellings. I also refuse to spell Iphone with the lower-case i. Yes, I'm fun at parties.
New owners might cut him some slack and find a normal agreement with with him (as in a fair settlement, not 30M lol). I don't think he can undo breaking his contract (unless he signs a new one but don't see that happening).
Technically speaking there is no dislike button. STOP THE COUNT!I sort of agree with the spelling issue. Let's be democratic: like this post to vote for a normal N, dislike it for the reversed graphic. I'll look at the numbers this time tomorrow.
Where's the investment fund from, Cyprus?Yeah I just looked into the company a bit. There's no way they have the money to bankroll this team (and they seem to have already been in trouble as a company in the past and now again, it's a bit shady). That investment fund must be the real backers, but you could ask why...
This is going to end disastrously. For Derek Gee he has nowhere to go, it doesn't exist. If a court judgment or sports arbitration was to order him to honor his contractual obligations the contract can't be enforced because the entity he signed with no longer exists. The UCI should have immediately issued an opinion that a professional rider holding a license should be able to pursue employment with teams that do exist, teams who are viable, teams who are registered with the UCI as being open for business.Marca has edited its article.
