Ha ok I'm not serious about 'never forgiving' the riders, Sauser is one of my favourite WC riders but I wouldn't be upset if the UCI banned 29ers from XC races. Keep everyone on the same (kinda) type of bike, keep the courses technical. I wouldn't like to see every race course looking like Sea Otter boring.
Maybe I just don't get them?
