A hard-hitting and heavy dismissal of Lance (and his cancer foundation):

The islanders tell it like it is.

Pretty sure it's not the islanders saying anything.
I moved to Washington, DC in the early 1990s. I began my law career as an indentured servant at a K Street firm. Thankfully, after only a few years, I was paroled to the Clinton/Gore Re-election Committee to serve as their National Procurement Coordinator in 1995.

What's with the barrage of links LL?

..and sorry but I am getting tired of Anna's blog.

It is to make threads difficult to read and get to the real crux of the thread where important information might convince a fan that Armstrong did dope.

LL is just repeating stuff that the diehards wont beleive anyway. So if they enter they leave because they see what they think is hatred and witch hunting as it is so difficult to find the real posts that will sway those looking.

Keep repeating bland posts over and over.

The Islander thinks drugs should be allowed in sports.

A revolting proposition.

Good point.

Anthony L. Hall's position on Lance is strong and it shows that there is a growing discussion worldwide that is much more critical of Lance Armstrong.

The "level playing field argument" is one that is widely presented today, not only in defense of Armstrong but also generally with regard to cycling (in the past?). This is what Museeuw suggests in his comments this week and we have seen that with quite a few others.

Hall is one of the few public commentator who stick to the "level playing field argument" and still feels repulsed at Lance.

This is one of the strengths of Greg Germer's statement. It shows that it never was a level playing field and that as long as their are those who dope and those who refuse to dope, it hasn't been and won't be a "level playing field."

But the "level playing field argument" fails for many more reasons, of which many posters and readers here will be aware.

5-5-5-5, 500, 5-hundread, over 500 tests.

Armstrong came back from cancer, and he was on his deathbed. When Armstrong came back from his cancer, his body shape was changed.

Some of them have received money to make such statements, so it's circumstantial, you've got to have the proof.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation received $75,000 in donations the day following his refusal to participate further in the USADA case against him. That compared to the normal $3000/day. Is it public knowledge what they get each day? I'm curious to know how it's been doing since and what it does in the future. Thanks.

$75k/day would translate to an annual rate of $27 million.

$3k/day would translate to an annual rate of $1 million.

Yes, there are financials available but you probably don't have to go beyond the smell test.

If it comes out of Lance's mouth it is probably a lie.

Eyewitnesses to murder who will so testify in court count as proof pretty much the world over. I guess you want a special category, doping by LA, where eyewitnesses don't count. Good luck with that.

daily visits to livestrong.org statistics probably loosely tracks donation levels.

Alexa.com shows current website usage levels for any website.

Livestrong.org usage down big from brief spike around Aug. 30. I received emails from them about that time pushing hard for donations, so am assuming they did what they could with their internal lists to push for additional donations at that time. Coincidence, no doubt.

Yes, I'm aware of the bolded, thanks. I would assume the 75K day was politically motivated and most likely could largely be attributed to associates of LA. I am merely curious to see if the "regular" donations will trickle down, especially since Tyler's book has been released as well as all the other recent indicators of his doping being made public. I see those donations as a reflection of his popularity among fans and would view a decline being directly proportional to his diminishing stature.
