I am the resurrection.

You walked into the party like you were walking onto a yacht
Your hat strategically dipped below one eye
Your scarf it was apricot
You had one eye in the mirror as you watched yourself gavotte
And all the girls dreamed that they'd be your partner
They'd be your partner, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
Don't you? Don't You?

You had me several years ago when I was still quite naive
Well you said that we made such a pretty pair
And that you would never leave
But you gave away the things you loved and one of them was me
I had some dreams, they were clouds in my coffee
Clouds in my coffee, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
Don't you? Don't You? Don't You?

I had some dreams they were clouds in my coffee
Clouds in my coffee, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
Don't you? Don't You?

Well I hear you went up to Saratoga and your horse naturally won
Then you flew your lear jet up to Nova Scotia
To see the total eclipse of the sun
Well you're where you should be all the time
And when you're not you're with
Some underworld spy or the wife of a close friend
Wife of a close friend, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
Don't you? Don't You? Don't you?

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you

The other choade isn't Wiesel's, it's his lap dog, Steve Johnson of USACycling.
The other two star-struck folks; no clue. Like they have...

Of course you are right about Johnson. I'm not sure what I was thinking.

But his latest interview shows that Armstrong, 41, is even more cold and calculating than he appeared them.

Speaking to Texas Monthly he said: ‘Ultimately, people forgive and forget and remember the good stuff you did.

Cold and calculating is a charitable description. I'm not sure why it's taken so long for this to become apparent.

And yes, people will forget. The good news is the guy can't stay quiet. I'm still waiting for the next scam. It's going to be awwwful, which will just remind everyone about the predator anyway.

Fight! Dig into your backpack of courage Wonderboy!!!

Une autre bon metaphore, ff!

hmmmm....lets see. US Attorney Andre Birotte Jnr drops the FDA case against Lance without any explanation, or any warning to the investigation team (including Novitzky) who are preparing a case. And no problem with SOL because they have Grand Jury sworn testimony that proves conspiracy.

MarkvW and some others think this is entirely normal. And conclude Birotte consulted DC

Guys you are entirely correct. Birotte DID consult with DC ;)

Clinton...Whitewater...Lanny Breuer...Mark Fabiani...Clinton...Birotte

you are welcome to join the dots :D

LA - ‘But then I see my kids, see the way they’re acting, the way they’re interacting. I see the way my son plays basketball, the way he hustles, the way he’s focused. I see a different kid.’

So the same way cancer made you into a 'driven' athlete it seems as though you are suggesting that being the biggest cheating liar of all time has made your son a better athlete. Well done.

Haha, Armstrong comparing himself to Clinton. He's nowhere near Clinton. Clinton didn't go around destroying people's lives for speaking the truth, he didn't go around verbally abusing and bullying people. Somebody should remind Armstrong that treating people horribly is the worst human trait to be forgiven. If he ever wants the world to forgive him, he has to make amends with all his victims first and they have to publicly accept his apologies.

He hasn't even started doing any work yet and he's talking 10 years from now. The guy is dellusional.

Lance's income slowly swirling ...

When I offerred up Lance's career trajectory: guilty by peers, Oprah, attempt at redemption; I was guessing. I had no idea he'd follow the shortest route to income he could find without any mourning period. He's beyond delusional and his handlers don't have much sense about media management.

Yeah, that's one of Lance's weirder quotes. Was the son inspired after finding out daddy was a lying, cheating, bullying jerk? And if so, does Lance now feel fulfilled as a father? Hmmm.. profound stuff.

LA is the epitome of failure as a person. And every time he opens his mouth the evidence of his despicableness continues to gather like a monster tsunami. This man is permenantly a fixture in the trash can of history. And like any other psychopath he just doesn't get it. Any scintilla of hope he would do the right thing has been smashed by his extraordinary ego and hubris. :D

IMHO, he sees that his kid isn't in his circumstances. Which, if his general story is true, then he could build a biography where being a predator turned out for the best. And on the surface, it sure worked out good until recently! So, unless there's something that generates a good deal of internal conflict, it's more of the same.

Hopefully for his various kids with various women he doesn't expose his them all to the sociopath within.

If LA wants to compare himself to an ex-President, the obviously best analogy is Nixon. Clinton was not stripped of his Presidency; Nixon was. And the public never did forgive Tricky D!ck, in large part because—and again, the parallel with LA is striking—he never admitted guilt. While conceding—tearlessly, in a widely televised interview to David Frost—that “mistakes were made”, Nixon insisted over and over that he didn’t do anything that other Presidents hadn’t done. He and his small band of fanboys who backed their guy to the bitter end argued that every successful President sometimes broke the rules for the greater good of the country.

He emphasized all the good that his foreign policy achievements accomplished (and I would say he did have a strong case there).

He and his supporters were extremely bitter at former Presidential assistants and other insiders, like John ("Floyd") Dean, Daniel ("Tyler") Ellsberg, and H.R. ("George") Haldemann, who squealed on their boss.

Who can forget G. Gordon ("motoman") Liddy, the administration's bagman?

And after resigning, when he got on the helicopter, the first leg of the journey that took him out of Washington for good, Nixon had his seven-yellow-jerseys-on-the-wall moment: he raised both hands with the Victory salute.

Yeah, I'll give LA this. He's been a better father to his kids than his father was to him. That may not seem to be saying a lot, but the cycle of neglect has been broken. He's giving them a better start in life than his father gave him. I'd rather have a publicly disgraced father who spent time with me than one who abandoned me at an early age.
