‘Ultimately, people forgive and forget and remember the good stuff you did.

‘Is it hard to do? Yeah. But ...

There's a difference between being forgiven (passive) and forgiving (active). You just can't do being forgiven by yourself Lance.
If you have already forgiven yourself why should anyone else bother, brother?

It's not about the bike.

When you have a Diety complex, you can forgive yourself.

Love it that even the reporters are mocking him.

Well, they're not "reporters" but it is funny.

That's the Hollywood paparazzi hoarde that seems ubiquitous anywhere you go in town anymore. They run audio and throw out any kind of outlandish or insulting question or comment, specifically to get a better reaction...and a better video to sell to TMZ...

LA is the epitome of failure as a person. And every time he opens his mouth the evidence of his despicableness continues to gather like a monster tsunami. This man is permenantly a fixture in the trash can of history. And like any other psychopath he just doesn't get it. Any scintilla of hope he would do the right thing has been smashed by his extraordinary ego and hubris. :D

LOL, posted for truth, pretty spot on here.

Lance you did it before and you can do it again. You wrote on p4 of It's Not About The Bike
My illness was humbling and starkly revealing, and it forced me to survey my life with an unforgiving eye. There are some shameful episodes in it: instances of meanness, unfinished tasks, weakness, and regrets. I had to ask myself, "If I live, who is it that I intend to be?" I found that I had a lot of growing to do as a man.
If you want to live again after your illness of lying begin to grow again as a man - SSDD!

Awfully quite on the Lance front these days......must be all those non-disclosure agreements in place.

Oh no. He's working on something. Probably many things. I think he tipped his hand with the Clinton remark. He's figuring out a way to "do good" like he did good (cha-ching!) with Liestrong, only different.

We can be assured he's digging into his suitcase of courage to work up another scam because everything recently published on the guy suggests absolutely nothing has changed inside his head.

My top-3 likely scams.

-"finding God" Oldman beat me to this one
-Infomercial for some do-nothing supplement.
-Casino spokesperson

To be fair, Wiesel/Knaggs/CSE will probably come up with something better, but super-duper scammy.

For sure he is up to something....but he is certainly busy with the folks lookin fer cash back....

Finding God.....doesn't play with the parallel maintenance of all his lies. I think he sees Hollywood and his salvation, and will try and squeeze all the juice out of that....

But he has lost a lot of high profile support like Leno, Letterman, Morgan etc. That will make his debut as challenging as possible.

Psychopaths always find a way, however...

I disagree. He's got nothing. Who would want to be associated with him? He's way too well-known to be able to get away with a scam. Livestrong tossed him aside. Nobody trusts him.

He's like OJ, before OJ went to prison.

"Finding God"? That's much more likely for someone who was raised religious.

Infomercial? "Hi, I'm Lance Armstrong. Let me tell you about ..." <click>

Casino spokesperson? "I gambled in sports and I lost, but even I'm a winner at Casino Royale!" Doubt it.

The entertainment industry is full of his kind. [edited: I didn't know it would go that way. Didn't want it to either] Running a doping program is charity work.

You guys are missing my point about "finding God." He can retell a "in my darkest hour" speech and then ask for money for some charity, you know 100% goes to the charity, except it doesn't really. To borrow a line, he'll be proud of the fact he's reached God quicker than anyone else.

Well, maybe not a casino. A sports drink for sure!!! Notoriety sells.

She was under the age of consent which nullifies the validity of her giving consent.

Also what the **** does it matter when it happened, rape is rape.

sadder statement that many people will instrumentalize anything they get ahold of and call it rape. i find myself unwittingly in agreement with scott and the scissors argument. who decides rape? and when? for what transaction? how much of a power(as opposed to force) assymetry is sufficient?

you weren't there either, now were you?
