Many years ago I did a 260km ride with Chip Wilson, he was training for the Hawaii ironman.

:p
how was he? nice? or self-absorbed?

I would NOT buy Lululemon because of him and that remark..even if I could afford those clothes!

but BACK on topic...
I love the way every time Armstrong's name is in an article it is prefaced by
"the disgraced" .....love it!

hate to say it, but I don't necessarily disagree with that phrase about some bodies not working in their products. Crimes against lycra are seen all the time. Remember that large guy bulging out the lampre kit?
It may not be PC, but it's correct...

and back on topic, I echo your sentiment about wonderboy and the constant adjectives applied - they're all sticking the boot in

well I digress..I agree that not all bodies are made to wear lycra or such..but the words or attitude that came across to me was that 'certain bodies don't deserve to wear our beautiful garments'
...my opinion and apparently shared by many other women that were angered by this

fair call. I didn't interpret it that way. "deserving" changes it somewhat, although he didn't use the word (not that I recall).

Lance and Stapleton to testify next month.

Lance Armstrong has been ordered to give sworn videotaped testimony next month about using performance-enhancing drugs to win the Tour de France seven times.

Armstrong has been sued by a Texas company seeking the return of about $12 million in performance bonuses. An arbitration panel has issued subpoenas for testimony from Armstrong on June 12 and his longtime business manager Bill Stapleton on June 9.

I fully expect Stapleton to throw Armstrong under the bus, while trying to persuade the Arbitration panel to let him drive the bus in order to escape.....

Discovery channel showed one back in the day. lol

Yes, they showed the large capacity of his heart and that was why he was so awesome. That and wind tunnels. Many marginal gains equalled great success. :D

can Stapleton's testimony be kept from LA before LA hits the stand?
Would be much more fun if neither knows what the other will say

The testimony coaching should be kicking into full gear.

It will be interesting to read what Stapleton might say. But, maybe since he's a Lawyer he knows how to CYA.

Doubt it gets to that point honestly. I'm no lawyer but, I'm assuming about a day or so before the actual testimony, there'll "suddenly" be some sort of settlement from Wonderboy.

We all know that was their intention, to exhaust all the options they could, until it came time for Lancey One Nut to testify. Neither wants that. I would suspect SCA is about to get a nice, sizeable settlement very quickly.

Fight Lance, Fight!! Bury yourself even further listening to that idiot you hired to represent you.

For those of us in London can see the new Lance Armstrong movie.

The Armstrong Lie was simply terrible with low ticket sales and bad acting.

This one looks good. Made by ABC TV in Australia:

STOP AT NOTHING: THE LANCE ARMSTRONG STORY is an ABC Commercial/Passion Pictures production from BAFTA Award winning director Alex Holmes (Dunkirk, House of Saddam); Producers are Quentin McDermott (The World According to Lance) and Jessica Ludgrove (Fire in Babylon); Executive Producers include John Battsek (One Day in September, Searching for Sugar Man) and Phil Craig (The Flight that Fought Back, Targeting Bin Laden

If anything you'll get to see Frankie's hair. He does have nice hair, doesn't he?

Not sure I like David Walsh's involment but I guess he's trying to make a buck off everything these days.

Err, it is a film about and starring Lance??

Dave.

Lance Armstrong has been stripped of a prestigious award by France.

The cyclist was given the rank of Chevalier - or Knight - in the Legion d'Honneur in 2005, the last year of his seven consecutive Tour de France victories. He was later stripped of those titles for doping.

A Legion of Honour official said she was unable to indicate when the decision was made to remove Armstrong's award. She said the organisation does not traditionally announce it publicly when recipients lose their decoration.

The Legion of Honour was created under Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802, and roughly one million people have received it over the years. It is France's highest honour.

Yes, you helped me find a video clip I've been searching for since I saw it in 2004!

Lance Chronicles...

Lance giving the OLN camera crew a tour:

Pills & mocking french journalism at 5:40.

Johan flipping out at 6:20 about a TV camera being in the hotel rooms, kicks them out. "TV camera...Fnk...I told them that's not allowed...Funk...That's...Not Allowed..."

Watching Armstrong mocking the media who had long suspected him of doping is nauseating. His behaviour is the ultimate indictment and evidence of his psychopathic and depraved personality. The sooner we forget about this pretender of a human being the better.

While I agree, I'd caution against forgetting.

Cycling gains/loses fans so fast because of all the corruption the "cleanest peloton ever" slogan actually works.

Ignoring works though!!
