you also didn't answer the second question - because you were too busy trying to figure out the answer to the first - it's Queens University - and anyone in Charlotte nows that - they're the kings of distance running.

QUOTE]

Gosh i luv running and i never heard of Queens U but then again i only follow Div 1. I would say OK state & Oregon would be the Kings of distance running

Oh my bad i just googled and i see some 1500 meter "stud" being the fastest qualifier for div 2 nationals.

I would be impressed except i ran almost that fast as a hs junior and my teammate ran that fast his first year in college.

King of distance running my ****:p

Hi all! Just poked my head in to see how the enlightened debate is progressing here. Let's see, the Appalachian crowd is argueing about whether or not they can run fast enough to catch their sisters. And some guy wants to start another LA bash. Good to see things are looking up.

Not trying to start a flame war, just sick of guys going toe-to-toe over which high school girls run faster. Suprised someone with your username your taking things a bit too literally.

Now, where was I, expecting Cavendish to beat Armstrong on Mont Ventoux by 12.5 minutes. Discuss...;)

Brillianter Tour by Alberto Contador and Andy Schleck. Too bad they both chose to nursemaid their teammates along instead of fighting out what would have been an epic battle for the stage win. I wonder how many minutes they would have been up by the top if they hadn't done so many trackstands!

The two sides are speechless. Or riding. Either way, things are looking up.

For the vast majority of posters here the two sides exist in their heads. The dominant hater side and the illusory fanboy side. Since LA crushed their dreams today the dominant hater side shutdown. The fanboy side, by default, is out of commision. Now they have to save face and get the post count of this thread up to the daily average of about 40 or 50. So far there's only about 12 posts and it seems the real(if they exist at all;)) fanboys are just sitting in. I'm cheering for the haters, they've had a rough tour.

Not really: third, or turd as it's known as by a certain Irish cyclist satisfies no one, especially Lance.

Whats to fight about: Brilliant? no way. Awful? Absolutely not. Pretty good? I'd say so, but this just isn't extreme enough for either side to get lathered up about.

Best thing about this banal tour is that's it dies, tomorrow.
Things will slowly get back to normal.

So, I suggest you resurrect this thread in about, say.......330 days?

I don't bother posting that often but here goes...

Carlos Sastre said Lance Armstrong could use a lesson in respect after the Texan reportedly called the race last year "a bit of a joke." Wow, Sastre really showed him

It looks like LA was correct about last years podium trio being a joke since the washed up old geezer was able to easily beat the 2 of them that participated - even without the time trial time advantage.

OK haters, revel in your misery and have a really depressing year. It's a beautiful day and I'm going out for a long ride! See you next year :D

This is why I can't listen to Eurosport in English.

I agree entirely with this assessment, but I think many on 'your' side do not.

So does this mean your lot are going to stop with all the hate and abuse, or just that you'll be doing it in 10 different topics again?:p

How do you get something like that through the airport? Or did he ship it? Either way that had to be a pain in the @ss.

Actually, Armstrong thinks quite highly of Evans. He was Armstrong's pick to win the TDF. Evans is such a head case though, I can't imagine he can ever win.

Regardless of where Sastre finished this year, LA's statement was disrespectful.

Next year should be good when AC no longer has to try to win the TDF and worry about LA's ego at the same time.

Right now Im worried about all the cancer patients who were relying on Lance to win for inspiration. How many of them has Lance killed with his weak effort.

It's my understanding that Lance retracted that comment and apologised to VdV.

What a chump that guy is. "I would have won in 2008" and then running like a miniature poodle in the second video. What a complete tool. COMPLETE.
