Are these guys training in an abandoned carpark?

How times have changed.

the american radioshack guys and bjorn selander had a test drive of the Nissan370z. All the guys had a go in the car and I bet you can guess who was the 'fastest'.

Vacansoleil are also supposedly in Spain holding a training camp as Lelangue and Bmc rode past the earlier today.

BMC's camp seems to be different to a lot of the other teams as the others it was just a get together but BMC is doing some serious training. Quinziato said that it is the most intense Decmeber he has had in a while. lets hope it pays off! I think lelangue wants some early results especially with cadel starting in late march this year.

Thank Christ Cadel didn't sign for Team Sky. I would have hated to read your fawning over Brailsford's self-aggrandising market garbage he put out in the off-season and early season last year.

I think I would slit my wrists if he signed for sky. Pretty much all the teams have either been in the snow (where you can't do any real training) or have been on the beach doing a bit of team bonding. I am not wrong in saying that BMC have done more harder, high intensity training in the december training camps than most if not all the other teams. Do many of the teams do high intensity 5hr bike rides in december?

btw, BMC's january training camp will also be in Spain.

Rumour has it that Dave B will be taking more of a back seat next year and letting the sports directors do their jobs - as long as they just get on with riding their bikes rather than talking ******** I'll be happy.

Sky are in Alcudia at the moment on a winter training camp. The aussies are in NSW racing so just the euros plus Rogers in Majorca right now.

It appears HTC Highroad do:-
From Matt Brammeier's Twitter "4hrs training done today in the sunshine and Agoura hills. We are lucky boys!"
& also from Leigh Howard's twitter " Finally back into some proper training today with 4hrs, a SOLID core seesion and a round of golf with Gossy."

Sky are doing some road riding but nothing too strenuous.

That might not work though so don't copy it.

Champion Australian veteran Stuart O'Grady broke one rib, fractured another and narrowly avoided puncturing his lung in a skiing accident in the Swiss Alps while on a training camp with his new team.

O'Grady has withdrawn from the Jayco Bay Criterium series starting on January 2 but is hopeful of riding the Tour Down Under in Adelaide

Some riders from Team Luxembourg (probably part of the TdU team) training in Mallorca:

I can't name them all though. Starting from the right it's Robert Wagner, Dominic Klemme and Tom Stamsnijder, and the guy from Quick Step might be Wouter Weylandt I assume. I have no idea who the guys on the left are. I thought the first one might be Martin Mortensen, but the jersey doesn't fit. I actually don't know that jersey, nor the green one and the white one behind him.

Can anyone identify them?

You can see the Trek training bike I posted in the "Jerseys" thread a while ago, but for example the guy on the left in the blue jersey seems to have white tape on his handlebars so I don't know if he has the same bike.
