How were the crowds on Box Hill, similar to the men? Lots of people on the road now, which is nice to see, surely the women appreciate it also (if they have time to look ;)).

Something happened to Olds ? Now out of the break - now 3 away for 3 medals... but a smaller group of course.

If anything this is great for the group. Medals guaranteed for the three if they stay away. Boardman saying that Olds was working a lot with the break - I didn't really see that.

Right, this changes things... Olds puncturing and back to the bunch. Now Zabelinskaya more keen to contribute, as she would be guaranteed a medal if they stayed away now.

Johansson with a mechanical too, and Sweden will stop helping now! Disaster!

Bad news for Vos, the Americans still have 4 in the chasing group

Good news for Vos! One less person to drag, and the Olympics are unique in that 2nd and 3rd are more prestigious (relative to 1st) than in most races.

Of course that's not scientific, but the break looks much faster to me than the peloton.

BBC commentator (the one who doesn't know a thing about cycling) says the three leaders are "All punchi?ng well above their weight". Why do we employ such ****ing morons to do this job?

Maybe he meant it is a complement because they are smaller than the men. ;)
