I forgot why I don't like this sort of races. Always the same, some guys in front are unaffected by crashes or other mishaps and can easily cruise to victory. Not my cup of tea.

Isn't this true with most races?

It looks like Quick Step is finally getting some help from the other teams in the breakaway. Even Thor just took a pull. I thought that the other teams were going to just sit there to the finish and let the 2 QS riders set the pace.

Fair enough if it's not your cup of tea, but it's not like those guys just laugh their way to the front of the peloton on small roads before the crashes and before things split up. There is far more than luck involved.

Don't know if they would make it to the finish if they all just sat on QuickStep.

has there been mentioned the gap to the peloton? At first I expected the peloton to be G3 but it looks like Boucher was G2 and now G3 is gone

Okay, so other than Devenyns and Hayman as helpers, we've got Flecha, Boonen, Breschel, Vanmarcke and Hushovd, plus one or two guys they picked up who were dropped from the break. I'd imagine if the group stays away the top 5 would look something like that, no?

No reason for Hayman to limit himself to being a helper. He has as good a chance as Flecha I'd say.
