De Lie was also really strong on the Muur in the Eneco Baloise Binckbank Tour last year, he gets another gear with the finish in sight. I hope he smokes them all later on.
The Visma riders are leaving gaps for them to close when they don't cooperate. Better to roll through. Why the other 3 riders are helping Visma makes no sense to me.
This surprised mePidcock struggling
He was almost gapped with Moscon a few km back in fairnessThis surprised me
Absolutely; would love to see him in this. It's a shame Pedersen isn't here!
IMO I wouldn't underestimate Pedersen for this classics season - not sure he can beat Wout, but I expect he'll be fine to keep up with the rest of the Jumbo team.Just too easy for Jumbo without Pogacar and Van der Poel. The amount of talent on that team in these races are disgusting. Imagine if they had Nathan V instead of Affini - that would be every one of their riders could win the race
If Ineos keep riding behind, then the Visma guys in front need to keep riding which makes it less likely for them to attack and Pidcock can keep his legs still... in theory.Rowe on front so Pidcock probably about to drop
Edit: and now he attacks!?
Nah. At best they can fight for ~5th.Peloton closer now. If these guys can cooperate. But Benoot in 2nd wheel blocking.
Thats maybe the only one outside of those 2, yes. But when it gets really hard in races like E-3 and Flanders, Pedersen is at least one level under the jet engines.IMO I wouldn't underestimate Pedersen for this classics season - not sure he can beat Wout, but I expect he'll be fine to keep up with the rest of the Jumbo team.
I think Wout is working for either him or JorgensenIs Jumbo working for Laporte? Feels like he is only doing the bare minimum compared to the rest.
