Wonder if he saw his kids againVisma riders need to work on their immune systems rather than their zone whatever.

He was already back training indoors quite quickly after the crash right? We should be seeing him back for the big ones in a few weeks. That's not just a rumour.
I didn’t think so but saw it from that guy who steals peoples stuff and reposts it at his own on twitter so didn’t want to say with any confirmation. That's not just a rumour.

I can't imagine beeing a pro while having young kids. There is so much sickness around, which is okay with a normal job and sport as a hobby but for a pro its really bad.Wonder if he saw his kids again

It was also a wrist fracture which is more complicated to recover from. But if he can train outdoors now and was already on the home trainer 2 weeks ago then he won't have lost all his form and is still over 5 weeks to FlandersYeah I'm not sure why people were or are acting he won't just be back before the real classics. Wasn't it just a collarbone fracture? Pretty normal to be back soon. He would've skipped opening weekend anyways.
With this wind and MvdP starting I also don't see a chance. There is also tailwind from Bosberg to the finish.it looks like the wind could be fairly strong
no chance for a bunch sprint

I think the ceiling for him is scraping together a short form peak that gives him a couple of weeks near his usual standard, akin to Van der Poel in 2022. Just not possible to have your usual base level immediately after rushing back from injury and with no racing in the legs and therefore he really shouldn't be as good as in 2025 even in the best case scenario.Allright that's a bit worse yeah, but still you can "keep" most of your condition on the rollers like you say, he'll be fine by Flanders at least imo. MSR will be too early probably tho, well also wouldn't surprise me if he's at the start there out of nowhere

some changes to the route compared to last year, but the most crucial climbs are the same. most importantly, rather than going over elverenberg/vossenhol directly after berendries like last year, they take the 2.5 km longer way to the muur over tenbosse and parikeberg.
the part from wolvenberg to molenberg is a little different than last years route. they get to mater from the opposite side, using kerkgate, a rising cobbled section. and no valkenberg before eikenberg
