It's beyond me that UCI has still not mandated that rain jackets should have numbers

Lots of mixed messages here..looks like a little drizzle, a few riders are wearing knickers, some wearing full tights, some guys going to the car to get jackets, some guys looking warm enough to remove jackets.
And a note about no numbers.. Astana and Cofids are chronically getting fines for not having numbers.. It's like they don't put them on before the race..another popular website has a summary of fines for races..I think fines are usually in Swiss francs@ it's usually the equivalent of @€100-200 for no visible number.

I am watching on Eurosport from Spain and they have had 2,3 commercials for Whoosh w Peter Sagan and just as many for MXGP which is outdoor motocross they are promoting.. And I didn't watch Olympic figure skating but I have now as part of watching a bike race. I am complaining about the commercials but French figure skaters who won gold are really beautiful people... Lol

I was surprised how the lead riders took that 90degree bend, didnt seem to cause too much angst behind, but surely you dont just chop across and take a racing line in a group like that, because 1 second the rider on the inside has a clear space to turn in, the next he has someone diving across him and blocking it, so he yanks on the brakes, touch of wheels and everyone is going down in that confined space (most of the time as clearly that didnt happen this time)
