BTW, only one Belgian in the Top-10 (Roelandts in 9th)... Pretty bad day for them.

It was the same last year, I think the first Belgian last year was 9th as well.

can anyne undersand the interview... in Flemish? What's he saying

It's Dutch....Snap je?

/OK:

He got out in front alone and just kept going. He heard Flecha was bridging the gap pretty fast and decided to wait and gamble on sprint. Since he did a recon of the finish a few times last week he knew where to start the sprint (200m) and where to really go (150m).

Haha..... great call!

Excellent racing - one of those situations where neither deserved to lose - but the smarter rider won the sprint.

Both gave 100%, Langeveld will be over the moon.

:p

he had explored the finish, he wanted to go at 200m, but really started only at 150. He knew he would have an advantage when on the right in the sprint. He escaped, not really wanting to escape, but to open up the race. No one followed him, he felt strong and decided to give it a go and stayed away.

He rode 90% on the munt pave, and after that, he saw the gap was about to be closed so he sat up.

Lol - poor flecha :(. Really didnt matter to me who won, but cool that it was a Rabo so that Boomcie lost his bet ( ;) ) :D

He basically said that he knew the finish line was best to go to the right and he felt good when he attacked at 52 km's
