I'm curious, how about the riders that have listened to the music instead of the radios? How can they explain the earpieces now? :D

Well, I'm Dutch, so I guess I'm the exception to the rule.
Well, I'm Dutch as well, and for me this isn't the start of the season either, but for most casual cycling fans (who don't visit forums like this) I think the Omloop is still the real start of the season.

Gah, at the end of last season I discovered Eurosport streaming and thought all my cycling needs would be met, but it appears not. Is the race on anywhere else on the internet?

The CN liveblog is handy, but I'd like to watch it if there's a stream I don't know about.

There certainly will be, give it an hour or so :)

Where i come from, a casual fan is someone who watches 2 stages of the Tour de France. So the idea that someone more casual than those of us who visit this forum, watches a semi classic in february is surprising.

He's talking about Dutch casual cycling fans (who BTW also don't watch races like this, I think)

I'm bored. We need to start some bets about today's race and if you lose the bet you have to do something like change your avatar!:D

(Boonen, Boasson Hagen, Boom or Burghardt):D

Also: Barry, Bonsergent, Bak, Bozic, Blyth, Barbe, Bellemakers, Baer, Baumann and Benedetti.

But none of those guys really have a chance, except maybe a slight chance with Barry.

Alright. If I were to say: "no Rabo on the podium". What would the consequences be? :D

Ah, 3 months of cycling goodness is kicking off for me today. I probably grew up so close to the Belgium border that some of their D-Day excitement has been tattooed onto the inside of my skull.

A non-stop roller-coaster of the best cobbles, classics, stage races and the most exciting GT. Bring it on.

A rather fortunate byproduct of a rather unfortunate event is that I am able to watch this on the couch with the old man. And just like in the old days, a stocked table in front of me is telling me that nothing will budge us from our front-row seats.

I haven't been able to do that in years. I am gonna enjoy this one. And he's just brought in the raw herring too. My nostalgia trip is complete.

The last weeks have been a bit busy. I haven't even had time to see who is all in it today. The Sporza stream (not geo-restricted like last year?) kicking in in half an hour. I have some emergency prepping to do.

You have to have a rabobank avatar if they were on the podium for a month!:)

Does anyone know if it is still raining?

cyclingfans always has links to live cycling streams (that may or may not be geo-restricted).
