It's less that than the fact that a 110 km TT with this kind of profile is something I really want to see someday. Ideally in the TdF with all the big shots attending. Not looking forward to the uphill sprint?

Expect lots of withdrawals over the weekend as some teams have nothing left to achieve in the race.
what did I do?Yes, I'm pretty sure he's the user @Andre and for coolness reasons the An was subsequently dropped.
what did I do?
what did I do?
Apparently, you became Dr Dre.
Not that we expect you to admit that of course.😄
Visma read my CN posts saying I missed the Sky era back and they abruptly oblige.I appreciate that Visma is honoring the tradition of one team almost always winning Paris Nice but never with their multiple TdF winner. Just like Sky in the good old days.
Mads stayed on the front yesterday rode like a Ferrari!! Guy is strong and smart..Two days of absolutely burying himself.. Super impressive!! He is the definition of hardman!!!Total hardman stage, 200+km in *** weather, 47+kph race speed and these guys contesting the win in a break of less than 20 guys for the last half of the race.
Flipping awesome, deserved win for Mads! Loved him crushing the past few days too, what an ANIMAL!!
He's said himself that he rode last year's RvV with his head up his asterisks.smart
You always say this, and then it doesn't happen because people are not only riding for results. Of course they want to finish PN if they can.
You are correct, I am just saying last couple of days!! I am not getting carried away yet..have not seen him 4 or 5 across with Merlier, Milan, Philipsen..Mads gets mad props but it's all relative. And weather it's knocking juice out of lots of guys..He's said himself that he rode last year's RvV with his head up his asterisks.
There have been 3 editions in the last 10 years when less than 80 riders have finishes PN.
The chase he put on was impressive.. Talk about full pull, guy was absolutely drilling it on the front and he can put in a decent sprint!! I am not really sure what the objective is for Trek(?) But Mads is a bright spot and he has a certain train locomotive character.. He has a Nils Politt quality but has a good sprint!!Mads strikes me like an Anatoly-type guy who goes out incognito on a cruiser bike among a bunch of cocky local pros and absolutely destroys them.
(For those of you who don't get the Anatoly reference:View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHMDHoBULpg

Lenny, however, will have another chance at a stage win, and in a race like this two stage wins on hilly/mountainous stages tops anything but winning the overall.Good or bad echelon for astana? They lost positions to sheffield and foss, but both are still catchable. Instead they passed lenny martinez who will not have a chance to come back.
I think there is a better chance than usual of mass DNS tomorrow because of the weather factor and riders and teams with little incentive to continue to risk getting ill with the classics around the corner. You always say this, and then it doesn't happen because people are not only riding for results. Of course they want to finish PN if they can.
Like Nairo he was probably born already looking 30.MvNulty is truly the "oldest" young man
