Onley and Rodriguez for Ineos could be interesting. Not exacly the crème de la crème of sprinters for stage 1, but Girmay looks a good bet.

Today's final climb, coming up with ~10k to go. Don't think it has been used before, but should normally be enough to split up the field

Looks like the kind of situation that prime Visma from 3-4 years ago would detonate the field on the final categorised climb and leave the rest to hunt for scraps. Don’t know if they feel they can or should do that now.

the way Girmay's climbing looked the past weeks, I don't really think he is much of a favorite today. But who knows who is willing to split things at all.

Currently, NSN and Picnic seems to be the teams controlling the (relatively good) 6-men break of C. Pedersen, Durbridge, Gamper, Walker, le Berre and Grignard. They only have 40s

Second time over the finish line is the bonus seconds sprint, if I'm correct. 6 seconds for first over the line sounds tempting for some.
