CN has some mystery rider named Bingham Grimy (NSN Cycling Team) involved in the sprint. Is the editor using a learning disabled AI app?
Never noticed that, but yes, he does.doesnt Lamperti resembles Cadel ??
He is a good teammate, he won today and I think he knows a bit about what good sprinting is supposed to look like..Never noticed that, but yes, he does.
Was Lamperti wheel sucking?doesnt Lamperti resembles Cadel ??
To win a bunch sprint in a flat race or stage, yes, it was Tyler winning TdF Stage 3 in 2011. It also happened to be the 4th of July, and France media made a big deal of the 1st US rider to win on the 4th. What I remember reading is Tyler wasn’t even aware what the date wasFirst American sprinter to win since Tyler Farrar?
That’s for the reminder. If you have already read the same post in the Tirreno-Adriatico thread, feel free to just go down to the next post.
It is a basic courtesy to each other to avoid spoilers in race threads about (near-)simultaneous events, but this week perhaps more than almost any other the time when we will watch two races races in some sort of catch-up mode, and others will be doing so in a different order. I'm sure we trust each other that it would not be deliberate spoiling of someone else's enjoyment, but enthusiasm to point something out could easily get the better of us: please be careful about that.
If someone does post here a give away of events the same day in Tirreno-Adriatico, please tag them as soon as possible in a (polite of course) request that they delete it or put it behind spoiler tags: they are unlikely to go off line before anyone has the chance to do so. You can always @Armchair Cyclist and @Cookster15 at the time, in case either of us are in a position to get there first.
This applies to the race threads: I would imagine we all know that staying out of rider and team threads, for example, is wise if you are trying to preserve ignorance of the day's events.
We wouldn't want this to be a disciplinary issue in terms of warnings: if a spoiler happens, its probably inadvertent (but maybe more unlikely if people have seen this), but if anyone were to insist on the right to ruin others' enjoyment of a bit of delayed viewing and double down on it, we might conclude otherwise, but I hope no-one would expect that to arise.
If there are extraordinary coincidences between the two races that deserve comment, there is probably another thread that would be suitable for them.
Thanks, and enjoy both races, whatever order you watch them in.
In the WT yes, in lower level pro races there have been a few since then (Travis McCabe comes to mind).First American sprinter to win since Tyler Farrar?
some of it i can understand , but the descent seemed perfectly fine if not better than that
