Gotta love Eurosport... epic stage going on in Paris-Nice but they're still sticking to the schedule, a boring sprint stage in Tirreno.
Presumably them having won the exclusive rights to Tirreno in most countries is coupled with a binding agreement to put the race on the main channel.

You are probably right about the airing rights, but Spanish Eurosport has adopted Del Toro as a native son,
Alberto Contador mentions him every few minutes almost involuntarily..
Ciccone and Pellizzari both do interviews in Spanish but Berto doesn't love them. Sepp Kuss was a popular interview for a bit, he is nowhere now.

with this gc i think vingegaard will be confident enough to race like in o gran camino and win as many stages as possible

He lost Piganzoli though.
Not that it would affect his GC position, but less bodies to control.

If it's dry, I think he'll start blasting off a bit. If it's raining, I doubt he'll do anything besides taking off on the MTF.

Also only one week rest before Catalunya, I would probably not want to go full gung ho on long range attacks every day from here.

I understand Vingegaard isn't taking a pull, that's logical. It's that he thinks after them doing ALL the work, it makes sense to just take that sprint.
Well, yeah? I didn't see Martinez taking any turns at the front either. Should Vingegaard be spending energy on the front while the one rival for GC sits on? Bora made the split it's up to them to drive it, if they don't want to drag Jonas along they can always sit up and wait for the chasers.

I really don't understand the issue with the bibs?? They are like a windsock. I'v never seen a pair of bibs that isn't form fitting, and why did he put his jersey under his bib straps.

He deserves to lose, just on his wardrobe choice.
They are bib tights, he probably intended on being able to take them off before the last climbs.

What a carnage! It's unbelievable how much buffer RBH could create vs the rest given small initial gaps after those events. The stage was like a TTT with one pro team vs some amateurs behind: too bad RBH didn't notice Vingegaard, who was small enough to hide behind and crushed them on the last wall. Epic victory for Vingegaard and great performance by RBH as well (Vingo should buy good holidays for RBH guys). Too bad there were victims of this stage and none could challenge Vingo.

Many of the top guys might be a bit gassed after today’s efforts, so tomorrow might be a good chance for the break? Plus Visma doesn’t have need to chase (other than Martinez) given Ving already has such a big buffer.

Reminder that people can change their votes in my bora leader poll
Looks like Vingegaard is their new leader.

Crazy ride from the brothers. I get GC is important but they should've played the numbers game with 3min ahead. Let Vingo make a decision if he want to follow or ride. You just knew this would happen.

Hope Ayuso is okay, any news on him?

I don‘t get the numbers game talk, the Van Dijkes were 4‘53“ and 6‘59“ behind on GC respectively. Also Vingegaard could make up a minute on both of them on the final steep section, so Martinez would either give up the GC advantage he gained or still lose hard to Vingegaard. Of course they might win the stage, but it wouldn‘t be worth it.

Again, I don’t care he didn’t take turns. I found it weird he went for the bonus sprint, commentators found it weird and RBH found it weird too. That’s all.

And what if he doesn't follow?
Don't think the should've done anything different.

Especially because yesterday he said those 4" bonus sprints are not gonna decide this Paris - Nice.
