Lol, you people are really desperate to never give Jonas any credit. Its both funny and sad.

7th place from last years Tour de France got 4th place in this race. It was a normal Paris Nice field.
Let's face it.

Vingegaard is a complete schmuck.

Which in turn makes Pogacar beating him also entirely worthless

I coulda been a 5 time TdF winner by now if only I could've been *** to get off my couch

If you can convince yourself that this is a good top-10, go for it. Onley and Ayuso DNF, Almeida DNS. No competition and race over at stage 4.

Wonder how he would have done against Ayuso, Seixas and Isaac. We didn't get any wiser at all on his actual shape due to this lacklustre field

The Gavia stage should never have happened. It was completely irresponsible.
Yesterday wasn't the Gavia stage, I thought at least that much was clear. Between such irresponsibility (organizers) and having no responsibility (riders), there is a world of difference. If you didn't get this point, you merely look like a blockhead.

If you didn't get any wiser at all on the actual shape of Jonas Vingegaard (2 stage wins, dominating all race), I don't know what you did this week, but you certainly didn't watch Paris-Nice.

There's no point mentioning Pog in any context. It's obvious that these two aren't in the same league.
It only is for people completely stuck in the past and its seriously becoming worriesome for the ones considering how far fetched it is now. in reality it obviously isnt any point of doing that for sure, noone besidse some forum people even do that cause its self explonatory.

And thats just okei cause Jonas on his own is really really good and mainly just deserves praise. One thing often doesnt mean the other in reality.

Great namecalling. I'm not saying that yesterday was the Gavia stage. I was simply saying that the Gavia stage shouldn't have happened and it was quite lucky that nobody died that day.

But nobody said the Gavia should have happened. The point was that the extremes to which riders in the past were subjected (and they rode out of a different call to duty), make the conditions yesterday seem like a walk in the park. And yet the riders made it seem like the end of the world.
