this stage is an example why i love caisse d'epargne.they are never afraid to attack or to put the hammer down to try to cause something to happen.seems like every race they are up there animating the action. still dont know if 17 seconds will be enough time over bertie...and i hope haussler isnt too banged up with the classics right around the bend

Now that David Millar has a sniff of the lead I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a go at getting off the front on one of the late climbs either tomorrow or the day after.

interesting to see if there is any consequence for contador and his lovemaking session with the rabobank car.

What's the bonus second situation at PN this year?

Also, I don't think there were any other Skys in that lead group, I might be wrong.

Voigt actually might have a shot at the overall, there are no really brutally long uphill finishes, he seems to be on top form, and when he is motivated he can certainly dig deep on the hills (see Tour of Germany wins)

Lulu only has 11 seconds over Contador, certainly not enough.

I doubt it considering that it was either within or very close to being within the last 3K

Henderson has done well considering the work he did on the front during the stage. Contador drafted back to the group behind his team car after crashing.

Wasn't his car, was Rabo's car, and as others have said it is pretty standard.

I'd love to see Millar take the final GC. Won't happen though.

Dim is not, let's say, very fond of AC. He's been hoping that he gets injured throughout the winter, so hoping for a penalty of some sort is mild by comparison.

:D nail on head.

Im not sure why he even took the risk considering it was inside 3k

there will be no penalty of course, the ASO LOVE astana.. ;)

I'd say that was pretty good sportsmanship by the Rabo driver.
