Cracking lead out by Geraint Thomas again...if only Henderson could hold a wheel, it would have been handed to him on a plate :)

Good win by Goss though, and had to avoid Sagans misfortunate rolled tub. It happens.

British sportsmen aren't very good at nicknames. Eg:

Bradley Wiggins = Wiggo
Andy Tennant = Tennanto
Jess Varnish = Varno (junior)
Steven Gerrard = Stevie G (or Stevie Me, or $tevie Me to non-liverpool fans).
Frank Lampard = Lamps
Ryan Giggs = Giggsy
David James = James-y
David Beckham = Becks
Andy Cole = Cole-y

etc.

Nope, sadly the days of good sporting nicknames are long gone. It's very rare to get a "Fonzie" these days.

I see today's stage was again most noticeable for the amazing leadout by The Mark Cavendish Appreciation Society :)

I saw this on the Team Sky blog:

Come on Cav imagine what it would be like if Wiggo and Rogers did a turn as well?

Goss is the new Andre Greipel.

What do you think ?
Will P-N be declared as an official Scheissrennen(tm) by Cav ? :D

Ok, they don't have any problems I think, so this shouldn't be a Scheissrennen(tm) and Cav will congratulate.

Noone watching saw Thomas easing up looking around for Henderson right after he came around the turn which much like stopping at a red light caused Sagan to clip his rear tire.

I think it was actually a little of both, Thomas did look round to see where Hendo was but Sagan had already rolled his back tub and never hit Thomas at all.
